Currently under construction at Bee Yacht's shipyard in Tuzla, Turkey, the yacht is set for delivery in July 2024.Inspired by expedition vessels, the yacht features a full-displacement hull, sheltered decks, and a build combining steel and aluminum. Engineering is provided by Hydro Tec, while Dragoni Design Lab in Varese, Italy, is responsible for the interior styling. The yacht offers accommodation across five cabins, including a full-beam owner's cabin on the main deck. The interiors are modern and airy, with the main saloon benefiting from floor-to-ceiling glazing. Renderings show a color palette of white, cream, and green, complemented by statement lighting fixtures and integrated LEDs.The main saloon is designed with sofa seating, armchairs, and a formal dining area for 10 guests. The aft deck, accessible through sliding glass doors, features a hot tub and steps leading down to a large, fixed bathing platform. The skylounge is styled in autumnal shades, with brown and cream furniture, mirrored tables, and cool-toned wood flooring. It includes amenities such as a wine fridge, a bar, al fresco dining, and sun loungers on the upper deck. The sundeck is partially shaded by the yacht's hardtop and includes two lounge areas and a sit-up bar for five guests. Additionally, there is a small sofa and coffee table area located at the bow.Key specifications include a volume just below 300GT and a beam of 7.7 meters. Greenline Yachts: Promoting Sustainable Yachting with Over 1,000 Yachts Sold
Greenline Yachts, a Slovenian shipyard known for its hybrid propulsion technology, has announced the sale of over 1,000 yachts since its inception in 2008. The company has developed a philosophy of responsible yachting, offering a range of eight hybrid models from 39 to 58 feet.Greenline Yachts fleetThe company, founded by Vladimir Zinchenko, has focused on sustainable yachting solutions, launching its first model, the Greenline 33, in 2008. The Greenline 33 Hybrid quickly became popular, leading to the introduction of several other models, including the Greenline 40 Hybrid, the Greenline 48, and the Greenline 58 Fly. The current lineup includes eight models, all featuring hybrid propulsion systems designed to reduce environmental impact.Greenline 58 FlyGreenline Yachts' hybrid propulsion technology, known as the 6G H-Drive serial diesel-electric powertrain, has been in development since 2008 and is now in its sixth generation. This system allows for significant fuel efficiency and reduced emissions, appealing to customers who prioritize ecological responsibility.Greenline 48 Fly“Our customers seek to immerse themselves in nature while preserving it,” said Zinchenko. “They value ecological responsibility and a low environmental impact. Our range of hybrid yachts allows them to do that, and we are seeing a sharp rise in inquiries as the market changes.”Greenline 40Greenline Yachts' design ethos emphasizes efficiency, featuring "superdisplacement" hulls that provide stability and economy at various speeds. The yachts can operate in electric mode for 20-25 nautical miles and use diesel engines for longer passages, with the ability to recharge batteries during travel. The yachts also feature extensive solar panels, lithium batteries, and inverters, allowing for extended stays without needing to start the engine or generator.Greenline Yachts fleetThe shipyard has also integrated sustainable practices into its construction process, using recycled PET plastic in hull reinforcement and vacuum infusion techniques to ensure precise material use. Offcuts from interior fit-outs are repurposed into heating pellets, and leftover foam is used for home insulation by a neighboring company. Marketing materials have been minimized and are produced from recycled or sustainable sources.Greenline 48 Fly“Navigating over 250,000 miles and working as a yacht dealer taught me about environmental respect and what boaters want,” said Zinchenko. “Greenline Yachts proves you can build a yacht responsibly while ensuring comfort and safety.”Greenline Yachts is introducing annual awards to recognize owners who demonstrate significant strides in responsible yachting. These awards will celebrate achievements such as the highest amount of solar power generated and the most electric engine hours logged.Credits: Greenline Yachts
