The 61st Genoa International Boat Show will start today and will continue till 21st September. The Ligurian capital will once again be hosting the Genoa International Boat Show from 16th to 21st September, organised by Confindustria Nautica – the Italian Marine Industry Association. The multi-specialised Show was working during Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. In 2021 online ticket sales for the event have seen an increase of 82% compared to sales confirmed at the same date in 2020. 



What have the shipyards prepared for the show? Azimut Yachts is exhibiting 11 models. Among these, there are two novelties of the current nautical season that will be exhibited for the first time at a show in Italy: the cosmopolitan Azimut 68 and the family boat Azimut 53.


Azimut 53

There are three models representing the Flybridge Collection, in addition to the new Azimut 68 and Azimut 53: Azimut 50, Azimut 60, Azimut 60 Aft Galley, united by a perfect balance of elegance, innovation and quality craftsmanship.

The S Collection will feature S6 and S7, both with exterior styling and concept by Stefano Righini and interior design by Francesco Guida, S8, a 24-meter sportyacht with a high level of technological innovation, exterior lines by Alberto Mancini and interior design by Guida and the flagship of the Collection, Grande S10.


Riva 68' Diable

Ferretti Group promises two sensational premieres – the 68’ Diable, the Riva flagship created at the Sarnico shipyard and launched last July on Lake Iseo, and the Pershing 6X, the new jewel in the Pershing range that has won the hearts of everyone with its cuttingedge technology and performance.

On display alongside these high points, and available for visits on board by customers and enthusiasts, will be some of Ferretti Group’s most successful models, including the Ferretti Yachts 670 and Ferretti Yachts 720 flybridge yachts, the super yacht Custom Line Navetta 30, and the 48 Wallytender X, the outboard version of Wally’s innovative tender that made its European debut last May at the Venice Boat Show.


Predator 55 Evo

Sunseeker Italy will be showcasing the brand new Predator 55 Evo. The 17.05 m yacht has a completely redeveloped interior design. In the same way, on the outside, new inox details and profiles in carbon fibre underline the unmistakable lines that are typical of the Predator line-up, one of the six collections created by the British shipyard. The new Predator 55 Evo can host up to six people with the owner’s cabin at the centre of the boat and a guest cabin to bow. Running on a Volvo Penta of up to 1,450 Ps the model can reach a top speed of 32 knots.


SL90A

Sanlorenzo presents its flagship of the asymmetric line the SL120Asymmetric. The Sanlorenzo SL120A applies an asymmetric configuration only to the living area on the main deck to maintain the side deck on the starboard side. Among the model’s many other unique elements, the Sanlorenzo SL120A also features 15 sq. m of outdoor living area to bow which the owner can access from their own cabin and which can be equipped as a sundeck or with a hot tub which would replace the sofa to bow of the deckhouse and a 45 sq. m of beach club which, thanks to fold-out side terraces, offers a space that is also in direct contact with the sea.  The range of 10 models also includes the new asymmetric SL90A, making its Italian debut.

Bluegame presents the whole fleet, fresh from the success welcomed on the docks at the Cannes Yachting Festival which just ended. Italian debut of the new BG72 flagship, a yacht that once again confirms the surpassing of traditional stereotypes and the crossover soul of the brand, whose models are not content to belong to just one category.


BG72

Accompanying the new arrival, the BGX70 and BGX60, the two models of the BGX range launched in 2019 that have surprised and garnered unanimous acclaim worldwide, and the BG42, the entry-level of the historic BG range.


Amer 120

Amer Yachts also shows its flagship, the new Amer 120. Measuring 35.64m in length and 7.40m in width, the Amer 120, built using a ground-breaking technique that allows for a reduction in fiberglass, is a “wide body” yacht, a layout that means the main deck can house all environments from the saloon to the owner’s cabin featuring particularly large volumes. The contemporary interiors are designed by Stefano Tini and can host up to 10 guests. 


60 Sherpa

Arcadia Yachts brings two yachts representing their shipbuilding philosophy – the A85 and the Sherpa 60. Both offering a direct connection with the sea thanks to vast open spaces and glass borders which allow passengers to experience environments where they are immersed in nature, the A85 (28.91 metres), with which Arcadia Yachts made its debut onto the yachting scene, and the Sherpa 60 (18.67 metres) combine innovative engineering solutions with artisanal know-how, while always placing the owner at the centre of every construction decision.


Gran Turismo 45

Gran Turismo 45 is Beneteau’s brand new design, scheduled to be presented at the 61st Genoa International Boat Show. The 14.78m yachts is the latest express cruiser by Beneteau and is inspired by on board hospitality and functionality. Designed by Beneteau Powerboat and Andreani Design for the interiors, the new Gran Turismo 45 boasts large open spaces, a vast bathing platform and a cockpit equipped with a U-shaped sofa and a wet bar featuring a sink, a fridge and an ice machine. Beneteau’s brand new Gran Turismo 45 runs on two inboard 440 Hp engines.


Cranchi Settantotto

Cranchi Yachts exhibiting the brand’s new flagship design, the Settantotto. The 25m yacht is designed by a close collaboration between the Cranchi Yachts Research Centre and Christian Grande. Both on the main deck and on the fly, the Settantotto offers large open-air spaces while the interiors can house up to four cabins with an owner’s cabin that takes up the whole width at the centre of the model, two queen-size cabins, with a VIP cabin to bow, and a double cabin. Furnished with items from Cranchi Yachts’ Flexform collection, the Cranchi Atelier customisation system allows for ample personalisation. The Settantotto runs on three 1000 Hp Volvo Penta IPS 1350s.


Swan Shadow 

Nautor’s Swan will present their new Swan Shadow, a walkaround that marks the Finnish shipyard with an Italian heart’s entry into the world of “powerboat”. Designed by Jarkko Jämsén and measuring 13.23m in length, the Swan Shadow, is five boats in one: a tender, a day cruiser, a chase boat, a fisherman but also a “limo-tender” thanks to the various configurations and spaces that allow for the highest degree of comfort along with easy and safe movement onboard.


TT280S

Invictus Yacht is set to present, as a world debut at the 61st Genoa International Boat Show the outboard version of one of the company’s most successful models: the Invictus TT280S. Measuring 8.87m in length and 2.94m in width, the Invictus TT280S in its FB version, a solution that allows for easier interventions on motors and broadens the useful space onboard with new storage areas freed up by the absence of a motor room, is designed by Christian Grande. The Invictus TT280S will run on two 250 Hp outboards.

36m Moonshine Launched by Moonen Yachts
Moonen Yachts has launched the 36.3m Martinique named Moonshine, during a christening ceremony held last week in The Netherlands. This marks the sixth Martinique model from Moonen's successful fast displacement steel hull series, designated as yard number YN204.Represented by Neal Esterly from Fraser Yachts, the owners chose Moonen Yachts to bring their vision to life due to the yard's reputation for excellence in their size range and yacht type. Customizations were made to suit the owners' preferences, including adjustments to the yacht's length, allowing it to fit within a specific location with a limited length requirement.Set to be delivered before the summer season, Moonshine will embark on a journey through the Mediterranean and the Caribbean before finding her permanent home in San Diego, California.The collaboration between Moonen Yachts and the owners, crew, and construction team was characterized by close cooperation and productive exchanges. Northrop & Johnson has been named the exclusive sales broker by Ares Yachts for the globally anticipated sale of the shipyard’s flagship, Simena.
