Azimut 53 Fly is made for the mid-range Flybridge market segment. Alberto Mancini made the sophisticated exterior design, and the elegant interiors have a contemporary design from the Azimut Style Office.
The very spacious interiors make it perfect for a family that enjoys long cruises. The solution was to combine multiple existing solutions in such a way as to create something new, significantly extending both the space on board and our perception of it. The generously proportioned day area is laid out on almost the same level, with the galley near the entrance and the living area separated by a difference in height of just 25 cm. Side windows that run uninterrupted create plenty of natural light and a wonderful view over the water.
The storage spaces, the depth of the armchairs and sofas, and the galley appliances have all been studied down to the smallest detail to ensure functionality, comfort, convenience and durability.
The master stateroom amidships offers a predominantly full-height space to move around in. The storage spaces in the suite includes a fully appointed walk-in wardrobe, a second storage column and half-height units along the hull side, plus additional space under the bed for bulkier objects.
The lobby has been designed to create space for a washer-dryer plus storage space without reducing the surface area of the third twin-bed cabin, while the partially verticalized bow makes the VIP cabin particularly roomy, with much more storage space and distance between the bed and the bulkhead than the market average.
The exterior area design focused on convenience. With only one stairway to the swim platform, the L-shaped sofa in the cockpit is longer, deeper and more comfortable, while the exterior storage cabin (or crew cabin) can be accessed directly from the transom. The setting can also be fitted with a bar unit with ice maker and bottle chillers.
The classic dinette at the flybridge becomes more versatile, proposing an up-down table that turns it into a second lounge area with a privileged vantage point over the water.
The naval architecture developed by the Azimut-Benetti R&D team, combined with the choice of a propulsion system featuring two Volvo Penta IPS 950s, ensures not only more volume on board, but also comfort, efficiency and manoeuvrability. The two engines deliver a top speed of 31 knots and a cruising speed of 27 knots, significantly reducing consumption and noise and making mooring operations even simpler.
