German shipyard, Lurssen is currently working on no less than 5 megayachts over 100 meters in length according to several reports, the largest of which is set to become Project Redwood at 139 meters in length.
German shipyard, Abeking & Rasmussen is preparing to launch its newest flagship, the 98-meter Aviva for UK billionaire, Joe Lewis. Apart from becoming the largest yacht ever built by Abeking & Rasmussen, Aviva also becomes the largest yacht ever designed by the British design studio, Reymond Langton. Lewis, whose net worth is estimated at $5,3 billion by Forbes, is also the current owner of the 68-meter Aviva, delivered by Abeking & Rasmussen in 2007. The new 98-meter is to become the UK billionaire's 4th Aviva.
Turkey-based shipyard, Turquoise Yachts (ex. Proteksan Turquoise), has announced the sale of the 77-meter project NB63 currently under construction at their facility to a European owner. The yacht is due to be launched in spring 2018. Penned by H2 Yacht Design based on the platform of the 72-meter Vicky, the NB63 features a 5-metre spa pool on its sun deck, a large beach club with side platforms and a helipad on its bow. Capable of accommodating 18 guests or staff across 9 suites, the NB63 also features a 100sqm owner's suite on the upper deck complete with an additional cabin for children or staff.
The 140m Ocean Victory has been recently spotted cruising Phi Phi islands, Koh Rok and Phuket in Thailand. Delivered by Fincantieri in 2014, the superyacht is designed by Espen Oeino with interior spaces created by the late Alberto Pinto together with Sessa Romboli. Owned by billionaire steel magnate Viktor Rashnikov, one of the oligarchs shaping the yachting industry nowadays, Ocean Victory accommodates up to 36 guests. As with many other yachts of this size, she is packed with alluring features such as 6 pools spread out over her 7 decks, an internal floodable dock to house her 14m tender, two helipads and a vast spa area.
Sanlorenzo has recently shared the photo of its first 52Steel superyacht emerging from the build shed in Italy. Named Seven Sins, the yacht will be launched in 14 days and will be the first vessel to make a splash at the Italian shipyard's new facility in La Spezia. Sanlorenzo's engineering team is responsible for the naval architecture, whilst Officina Italiana Design styled the yacht’s exterior.
Oceanco's highly confidential 88.5m superyacht, Y715, has been lowered into the water in Keppel Veroime 2 months ago. Dutch Yachting has recently shared the photos of the superyacht undergoing her first sea trials. Launched at the end of October, she has a beam of 14.5m and a draft of 3.95m. Exterior styling and interior design are by Sam Sorgiovanni Designs. The yacht presents a modern sporty look with a dark blue hull which is generously offset with a contrasting white superstructure. With no sharp edges, she has a very organic form with large elliptical-shaped hull windows that complement Y715’s curvilinear profile. Further details remain confidential at this time.
81 metre Feadship Air has emerged from Monaco Marine La Ciotat with a new paint job. Just eight weeks after the superyacht refit yard was assigned the task of repainting the vessel's hull, Air hit the water showing off her soft, non-reflective, black matte coat. Air was hauled out of the water on 3rd October. To prepare for the arrival of the superyacht, Monaco Marine had set up a made-to-measure transformation cocoon. The 1,000 square metre surface was completed by a team of 25 painters from subcontractor Rolling Stock.
CRN, the Italian brand, part of the Ferretti Group, specializing in the construction of fully-custom steel and light aluminium alloy pleasure vessels between 40 and 100 meters in length, recently performed a major procedure - the relocation of the new 79-meter megayacht, bound to become the second largest yacht ever built by the yard. The yacht, weighing more than 1,000 tons, was skillfully moved 800 meters over a span of two hours from one hangar into another. The relocation showed the impressive volumes of this new megayacht - hull number 135 - designed by CRN’s Technical Department in cooperation with Studio Zuccon International Project, who designed its exteriors, and with Studio Laura Sessa, who took care of interior design.
Forte Yachts is in the final stages of construction for its first model, the Forte 47. The 14-meter yacht, which debuted at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival, is scheduled for launch in November 2025. The vessel is being built at the company's shipyard in Ameglia, Italy.The aluminum-built yacht features a vertical bow and a hardtop that spans over half its length. Its most distinctive feature consists of two fold-out terraces positioned amidships, which open outward to create sea-level lounge areas. The deck design incorporates a walkway only on the port side to maximize interior volume.The yacht is available in two configurations. The Gran Turismo version uses triple Mercury V12 600hp outboard engines with an estimated top speed of 45 knots. The Lounge Deck version features twin Volvo Penta IPS D8-800 inboard engines and an enclosed saloon with full-height glazing.The interior includes two cabins and two bathrooms with separate showers, with headroom exceeding two meters throughout. The hull design by Umberto Tagliavini of Marine Design emphasizes stability and efficient planing.Technical Manager Livio Franchini stated: "Opening the terraces transforms the yacht entirely. It creates a seamless connection with the sea that feels unprecedented in a 14-meter vessel."Brand co-founder Fernando Moricca stated: "Our clients are not just buying a boat; they are creating a tailored experience. Royal Huisman has unveiled a 50-meter concept yacht named AERA. The design incorporates a wing sail system and fuel cell technology aimed at reducing emissions. The concept follows the shipyard's 2024 launch of Project Tidal Shift, an environmental initiative focused on ecological preservation.The yacht's wing sail, developed by Artemis Technologies and Rondal, measures 245 square meters and is capable of rotating 360 degrees. The unstayed wing sail system does not require traditional sails, sheets, blocks, or winches. Two electric motors inside the yacht rotate the mast, while hydraulic cylinders control adjustable flaps along its trailing edge.AERA is designed to operate under 500 gross tonnage. The concept results from a collaboration between Royal Huisman, Rondal, designer Cor D. Rover, and Artemis Technologies. The design allows the vessel to function under both sail and power.Royal Huisman previously delivered the world's first hybrid superyacht, Ethereal, in 2009. Tankoa Yachts has completed the acquisition of the business division of Otam. The transaction, finalized in agreement with both companies' founding families, includes the Otam brand and its historic shipyard in Genoa. The dockyard facilities in Santa Margherita Ligure remain under the current ownership.The acquired Genoa facility comprises approximately 4,800 square meters of covered areas, 3,300 square meters of open-air spaces, and a water basin of nearly 10,000 square meters. Tankoa Yachts plans to implement a restructuring program that will include extending concessions, reorganizing the areas, and constructing new production sheds.The operation includes the integration of Otam's workforce into Tankoa Yachts. All employees are being transferred to ensure job continuity and to add new skills and experience to the shipyard.The Otam brand, with its existing heritage and international reputation, becomes part of Tankoa's portfolio. Sanlorenzo will present a fleet of eight yachts at the 65th Genoa International Boat Show, scheduled from September 18 to 23, 2025. The exhibition will be headlined by the Italian public debut of the new SL110A model.SL110AThe 33-meter SL110A represents the latest evolution of the shipyard's asymmetrical line. Its exterior design was developed by Zuccon International Project, with interior spaces curated by Piero Lissoni. The yacht achieves a top speed of 27 knots. Notable features include an owner's suite spanning the vessel's full beam with direct access to a forward pool area.SL86AThe display will include several other models from Sanlorenzo's product lines. The Smart Performance series will be represented by the SP92 sports yacht. The asymmetrical line will feature both the SL86A and SL90A models. The semi-displacement range will include the SD90 and SD96, designed for flexible interior layouts. Zeelander Yachts will present its new flagship model, the 24-meter Zeelander 8, for the first time at the Monaco Yacht Show 2025. The yacht will be located at berth C27 Quai Chicane during the event, which takes place from September 24 to 27.The yacht features a layout with social areas on the main deck, including lounging and dining spaces, along with a galley. The lower deck contains three guest cabins. The master stateroom is positioned amidships and includes windows and a headroom exceeding 2.1 meters. The first hull includes customized modifications, such as relocating the galley to the starboard side of the salon and integrating the bar area with the cockpit.The yacht is equipped with a large targa sunroof and retractable aft doors. Sound levels are reported to measure below 65 dBA at its full speed of 32 knots. The yacht can reach speeds of up to 40 knots with optional larger engines.Each hull is built to owner specifications, with customization handled by the shipyard's engineering team. The exterior design maintains the stylistic features consistent with other yachts in the Zeelander range.Zeelander Yachts was founded in 2002 in the Netherlands by Sietse Koopmans. The first model was unveiled to the public in 2008. The launch model Z44 received positive reviews at the Monaco Yacht Show and drew enormous crowds, despite being at an event dominated by much larger yachts. Within three years, the Z44 had been successfully introduced to the US as well as Europe, and it was an obvious direction to add a larger model to the fleet.
