Extra Yachts Unveils Fourth X96 Triplex Unit, Super Mario
Extra Yachts has announced the launch of the fourth unit in its X96 Triplex series, named M/Y Super Mario. Boasting an impressive 238 GT spread across four decks, this model leads its category in terms of volume.The exterior design of Super Mario is the work of Guida Design studio in collaboration with the Extra Yachts style team, while the interiors have been crafted by the renowned Hot Lab studio. Customized meticulously to meet the desires of the owner and his family, this unit stands out from its predecessors with the inclusion of a sixth cabin on the upper deck and the relocation of the galley to the main deck.A significant feature of the X96 Triplex is the large floor-to-ceiling windows on both the main and upper decks, which enhance the connection with the sea and the surrounding nature.The yacht's accommodation includes two VIP cabins and two twin cabins, each with an ensuite bathroom, located below deck. The master cabin is positioned forward on the main deck, spanning a beam of 7.6 meters. This suite features an office desk, a spacious wardrobe, a vanity desk, and a bathroom equipped with a double sink, shower, and separate toilet.The interiors are marked by a contemporary design with natural oak floors and a mix of white-lacquered and grey fabric ceiling panels. The use of beige wood boiseries, glossy black lacquer details, and grey leather-clad columns enhances the tactile feel of the spaces. Evo Yachts Launches the New Transformable Evo R4+
Evo Yachts has launched the Evo R4+, a 13-meter yacht that builds on the success of the Evo R+. This new model offers a closed deck solution and introduces notable enhancements such as an aluminium hard top and a multifunctional stern platform that extends the boat’s length by an extra meter when deployed.The Evo R4+ retains the sleek exterior and comfortable interiors that have come to define Evo Yachts, while emphasizing transformability to suit various weather conditions. This model, designed by Valerio Rivellini in collaboration with the shipyard, boasts a unique blend of livable exteriors and the comfort of a cabin cruiser.The aluminium hard top is a standout feature, produced in-house with removable Plexiglas parts that allow for partial openings, adapting to different weather conditions. This hybrid design creates an open yacht feel with the flexibility to switch to a more enclosed setup. Additionally, the hard top includes a spoiler for natural ventilation, Alcantara ceiling panels, and a sophisticated LED lighting system.In the beach area, the multifunctional stern platform, developed with Besenzoni, adds versatility. It can be lowered to about 80 centimeters below the sea surface, facilitating easy water access and can also extend completely to provide safe boarding from high piers. This platform also accommodates a tender or jet ski without requiring removal, enhancing convenience.The cockpit and beach area are designed for easy transformation, transitioning from a sun lounge to a dining area seamlessly. The "XTension" bulwarks, a signature feature of Evo Yachts, hydraulically expand to increase the deck space by 40%, creating a spacious 25-square-meter terrace.Below deck, the interiors are functional and customizable, featuring a double cabin, a well-equipped dinette, and a foldaway table that converts into an additional double bed. The use of premium materials and thoughtful design ensures a comfortable and luxurious experience.Powered by two 535 HP Volvo Penta IPS 650 engines, the Evo R4+ achieves a top speed of 34 knots and offers a range of approximately 300 nautical miles. This fast day cruiser combines the benefits of a walkaround and a cabin cruiser, catering to owner families seeking a balance between comfort and sportiness for year-round enjoyment.The Evo Yachts shipyard is based near Naples. She was born in 2014 from a fortunate encounter between Blu Emme Yachts and the Neapolitan yacht designer Valerio Rivellini. 36m Moonshine Delivered by Moonen Yachts
Dutch yacht builder Moonen Yachts has successfully delivered Moonshine, a new 36.3-meter Martinique yacht.Moonshine embarked on her maiden voyage to Mallorca, marking the start of her owners’ first season on board. She is set to cruise the Mediterranean and the Caribbean this year before reaching her permanent home in San Diego, California.The yacht features a range of bespoke changes tailored by Moonen Yachts to suit the owners' preferences and intended use, including modifications to the yacht's length for a specific mooring location. The owners collaborated with Hollander Yacht Design to create a rich and characterful interior.Moonshine's final commissioning took place in Rotterdam before departing the Netherlands. The yacht's spacious 345 Gross Tonnage volume includes five cabins, accommodating up to 12 guests and seven crew members.Moonen Yachts is currently building the seventh Martinique, YN205, which is available for sale and scheduled for delivery in April 2025.Moonen Yachts is a yacht builder based in the Netherlands, and its first yacht was built in 1964 under the original yard name of De Ruiter. Denison Yachting Reveals Updates on 62m Project Nacre
Denison Yachting has announced significant progress on Project Nacre, a 62-meter superyacht, with its hull and superstructure now completed. Stored in a temperature-controlled shed at SARP Yachts shipyard in Antalya, the vessel is awaiting a client to finalize its outfitting.Designed by Van Oossanen Naval Architects with exterior styling by Hot Lab design studio, part of the Viken Group, Project Nacre features an aluminum superstructure and a fast displacement steel hull. This design ensures sleek waterlines while maintaining the interior space of a traditional hull, enhancing both performance and fuel efficiency. The yacht is constructed to ABS and MCA LY3 standards.Project Nacre, boasting a gross tonnage of 1,150 GRT, is notable for its expansive exterior deck spaces and innovative hull design. The yacht’s streamlined look contributes to its aggressive, fluid aesthetic, and it offers an impressive range of 6,500 nautical miles at 12 knots, making it a formidable global cruiser.Spanning five decks, the yacht accommodates 12 guests and 13 crew members. Key features include a full-beam Owner’s suite with walk-in closets, his-and-her bathrooms, and a private office. The lower deck offers three VIP and guest cabin options, while the upper deck features a dining area for 14, a lounge/cinema with sofas, a bar, and a play card table. Additionally, the foredeck boasts a pool with sunbeds and lounge sofas.Alex G. Clarke, a yacht broker at Denison, highlighted the yacht's appeal: “Having been onboard multiple times, Project Nacre represents an absolutely gorgeous project that can be delivered to a client within half the typical build time required for a custom 60-meter.
