Yas

Previously known as Swift 141 after Abu Dhabi based shipyard Abu Dhabi MAR decided to buy a Dutch frigate built in 1978 and reconvert it, Yas was relaunched with her new Pierrejean, French design in 2011.With a steel hull and composite/glass superstructure, Yas has a one-of-a-kind shape and design. Classified by the DNV (Det Norske Veritas) and MCA, Yas is fitted with under-water sonar systems and ultra-modern navigation system.Carrying a crew of 56, Yas has a length of 141 meters, a beam of 15m and a draft of 4.2m.
