The Cannes Yachting Festival is officially opened. Here is a list of yachts worth visiting at Europe’s biggest on-water boat show. The 2022 Festival will be held until September 11 with more than 400 motorboats on show, including 135 world premieres.

The latest flagship of Canados’s Oceanic range was launched in July. The Oceanic line brings to the market the unique concept of an Explorer styled yacht in terms of design and range with much more than the 13 knots usual top speed offered by most explorers on the market. She is the result of an in-house design and engineering with interiors by Michela Reverberi Design from Rome. The Oceanic particular hull architecture, named by Canados Technical Office as “Displanning” was developed by the shipyard. The vessel features a short superstructure and a huge open aft deck, which is dedicated to fine dining and elegant lounging about, rather than the suite of tenders and water toys generally found aboard its intrepid cousins.

Maori 125 has an estimated top speed of 18 knots and a range of 4,200 nautical miles.

Goga, the first of eight B.Yond models currently on order or under construction, was launched in July at a gala thrown by Benetti. The interiors of the superyacht were designed by Benetti architect Mauro Izzo. The model, created by Stefano Righini Design, was motivated by the idea of Paolo Vitelli, the founder and president of Azimut|Benetti Group, who desired a yacht with four decks and a modern yet potent aesthetic. Goga has a sophisticated internal layout that more closely resembles a 50-meter yacht than a 37-meter ship, making the most of the 395 GT of room.

Her D2P Displacement to Planing Hull designed by Pierluigi Ausonio of Studio P.L.A.N.A. in conjunction with the Azimut Benetti R&D Center combines the comfort typical of a displacement hull with the performance of a planing hull and she has a significantly improved fuel efficiency. She can accommodate 10 guests across five cabins and features an innovative upper deck with single-level walkaround. In the center of this deck is located a sky lounge with sliding glass doors. The yacht also has a full beach club.

Benetti’s new Oasis 34M fiberglass superyacht brings the Oasis Deck® solution in a length of just 34 meters. Like her big sister, Oasis 40M, the yacht’s exterior styling is the work of UK firm RWD and the interiors are by Bonetti/Kozerski, the New York based architects. The yacht has an elegant vertical bow and a sleek outline that slopes gently down to the water, broken only by the wheelhouse with its vertical windscreen and the floor-to-ceiling windows. Oasis 34M spreads across three decks. She has a large sun deck with hard top, and multiple outdoor areas.

Lady Lene’s exterior was made by Guido de Groot Design, the expedition-style yacht will be fully wheelchair-accessible thanks to an elevator which connects all decks. Her sophisticated interior was designed by Carla Guilheim and Guido de Groot Design and includes an owner suite with an office, which is located on the lower deck as there are two doubles and one single cabin. The VIP suite is situated on the bridge deck.

At the Cannes Yachting Festival, German shipyard YYachts shows a brand new Y9. The yard’s newest flagship, the Y9, with a length of 27.40 m, presents the same volume of a 100ft yacht with a private owners’ apartment to offer maximum privacy, comfortable guest cabins and a large and flexible crew area. The yacht is a Bill Tripp design. The owner also wanted to have a noise free yacht at anchor. Therefore YYachts used solar panels at the sunroof plus hydro drives so that there is no need to use the generator at night. The interior of the Y9 was jointly developed by two design studios. Norm Architects from Copenhagen and Design Unlimited from Lymington combined their architectural and yachting experience and created a Scandinavian elegant look for the Y9 that follows the principle of "soft minimalism".

The vessel features naval architecture by the Alkmaar-based studio Diana Yacht Design and exterior design from the drawing boards of the Dutch studio Bernd Weel. Her interior was made by the French designer Franck Darnet. Avontuur offers three guest cabins and with the crew quarters also integrated into the guest space. Avontuur has a large light-filled main deck saloon, 70 sq. m main deck which transforms easily into a spacious entertainment area once the toys, an Air Nautique G23 and a five-meter RIB, are launched.

All the on-board utilities can easily be powered by solar panels. The Numarine 22XP is the entry level boat in the XP Series to date. The exterior and interior design were made by Can Yalman, while Umberto Tagliavini took care of the efficient naval architecture. The 22XP’s interior is among the most voluminous for a 70-footer out there on the market. The layout of the 22XP offers three or four spacious cabins, including a full-beam master suite.

Polish shipbuilder Sialia Yachts has entered final construction phases for its inaugural fully electric Sialia 45 model at its Gdansk facility, with launch scheduled for autumn 2025. The 14-meter performance cruiser represents the company's initial production electric yacht.The vessel utilizes twin 300kW electric motors delivering a maximum speed of 43 knots. Power comes from standard 500kWh battery packs providing 55 nautical miles of range at 25 knots, with optional endurance packages extending range to 77 nautical miles. Saxdor Yachts to Debut New 400 GTS Model at Cannes Yachting Festival 2025
Finnish boat manufacturer Saxdor Yachts will present the global premiere of its new Saxdor 400 GTS model at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2025. The open-deck vessel expands the existing 400 series, joining the 400 GTO and 400 GTC models.The 400 GTS features a T-top roof, semi-walkaround layout, and fold-down terraces characteristic of the brand. The design emphasizes open-air cruising with overnight capability through two cabins below deck. Forward seating converts to a sunbed, while aft sofas surround a convertible dining table.Built on the same twin-stepped hull as other 400 series models, the GTS is powered by Mercury V10 425hp engines. Fraser has reduced the asking price for the 50-meter motor yacht Belongers to €12.9 million. The vessel was built by French shipyard Couach in 2014 as part of the limited 5000 Fly 2 series, with only two units completed.Constructed under supervision of project managers and surveyors, the yacht features exterior and interior design by Metrica. The 497 GT vessel accommodates 12 guests in a 5+1 stateroom configuration, including a main-deck master suite with dual bathrooms and walk-in closets. The layout includes two double cabins, one convertible double/twin cabin with Pullman berth, and one single cabin on the lower deck.Outdoor areas feature bridge deck alfresco dining for 12 guests and a sundeck owner's office.
