1. Fire breaks out on 124m Katara
124m superyacht Katara caught fire around 11:30 am at Porto Montenegro. According to Vijesti, the fire originated in the engine room of the megayacht. Four vehicles and 15 firefighters managed to extinguish the flames in 15 minutes on one of the largest yachts in the world.

22-meter (72ft) Time Out got washed ashore on Palm Beach on Wednesday night following a navigational error according to WPTV. The captain reportedly failed to navigate into the Palm Beach Inlet according to the publication. Guests onboard were able to walk ashore and the captain was charged with boating under the influence earlier this morning.

Italy based designers behind 85m St. Princess Olga, Star concept and M/Y A logo will present SHY superyacht concept at the upcoming Monaco Yacht Show. Information about the project remains scarce but it is confirmed that the concept will have 110m LOA. Lightweight and translucent, the superyacht has no visible horizontal deck spaces outside. Turkish shipyard Numarine is proud to announce the double launch of the first two units of 105HT model. The sale of these projects was disclosed in September 2015. The shipyard revealed that hull No 1 has been handed over to a European customer who is planning to cruise the Mediterranean. Moonen Yachts has secured the sale of its seventh 37.4-meter Martinique model (YN205) through IYC brokers Matthew Stone and Josh Marshall. The transaction marks the second in-house sale since IYC became Moonen's global sales representative.The American buyer selected the Dutch-built yacht for its customizable layout and indoor-outdoor connectivity. Construction will now extend beyond the original four-week delivery timeline to accommodate owner-requested modifications, including a hot tub installation."This sale demonstrates Moonen's flexibility in meeting client needs," said Matthew Stone, IYC Managing Partner. "The yard stood out among six competitors for its balance of quality, comfort and safety."Designed by René van der Velden with naval architecture by Diana Yacht Design, the 345GT Martinique features Hollander Yacht Design interiors. Turkish yacht builder Numarine has launched two new explorer yachts - the 37-meter 37XP (hull 18) and 26-meter 26XP (hull 27), with a 32.6-meter 32XP (hull 14) scheduled for June delivery.
