Launched in November 2015 and delivered six months ago, 45m superyacht Amore Mio
represents a performance yacht with not only power but also sophistication. Designed by Omega Architects, she provides the very rare combination of style, speed, space and safety.
A notable example of the design details is the use of flamed American walnut, open grain veneers in book-matched style in the furniture and table tops. All the doors have an inlaid sculpted and lacquered panel that gives them a distinctive character and the stone used on board comes from the same block of breccia perlato, a limestone that incorporates many organic elements such as shells and other fossils. The fabrics on board Amore Mio are by Loro Piana who – encouraged by Cristiano Gatto – developed a special textile for marine use that is used throughout the yacht.
The main saloon is impressive and integrates the staircase into the lounge for heightened effect. Floating treads of walnut are supported by polished steel columns and sanded glass that reflects light across the entire room.
Set forward on the main deck, the full beam master suite exudes elegance and refinement. The ingenious combination of wood, marble, and leather, together with the sense of spaciousness provided by reflective details in polished stainless steel create a unique and calm atmosphere. On the starboard side there is a relaxation corner with a large built-in, curved sofa on the starboard side, while on the opposite side a writing desk can be transformed into a precious vanity.
Amore Mio sleeps eight guests in two double and two twin cabins on the lower deck. The guest suites have been designed with the comfort of a long-range cruising yacht using contrasting shades of white and dark grey Majilite, richly grained woods and recessed artwork panels.
Located forward on each side of the lobby, the two twin cabins feature ensuite bathrooms with have stone floors, marble shower stall and vanity units: only made possible by Heesen technology to integrate heavyweight materials without affecting the performance of this sports yacht.
The 49 sqm main deck aft terrace offers the perfect ambiance for lounging on the upholstered built-in sofa complemented by two club chairs and low coffee tables.
Forward Amore Mio’s ten guests can enjoy al fresco dining around the sumptuous high gloss teak table surrounded by stunning views when at anchor.
Amore Mio’s impressive 90sqm top deck is both fly bridge and sun deck, with al fresco dining and a BBQ station. There are two lounge areas with cosy armchairs and coffee tables, and plenty of room for outdoor exercising while admiring spectacular sky and sea views.
