Venice, the epitome of architectural marvel, romance, and aquatic charm, set the stage for the grand revelation of Wally's latest masterpiece – the wallywhy100. Unveiled at an exclusive Ferretti Group event in December 2023, the wallywhy100 epitomizes the fusion of design, functionality, and maritime allure that places Wally at the forefront of the yachting industry.
Expanding the acclaimed wallywhy range, the wallywhy100 inherits the distinctive features of its larger counterparts, the wallywhy200 and wallywhy150. This 21.4-meter yacht effortlessly blends breathtaking aesthetics with unparalleled performance, creating an oasis of luxury for its passengers.
In a departure from the multi-level layouts of similar-sized vessels, the wallywhy100 embraces a single-level design from bow to stern. This innovation redefines spatial dynamics, creating an expansive environment that seamlessly integrates interior and exterior spaces. The aft sea terrace, a hallmark of Wally's design philosophy, stretches to 14 square meters, featuring hydraulic platforms for tenders, a passerelle-swim ladder, and wings that extend the terrace for unobstructed water views.
The angular glass superstructure houses a hybrid saloon, dining area, and an internal helm with joystick control for a cruising speed of 24 knots, reaching a top speed of 27 knots with the Volvo Penta IPS1350 option.
Rooted in functionality, the wallywhy100 showcases Wally's commitment to the synergy between form and purpose. Founder and Chief Designer Luca Bassani notes, "It stands out from other boats on the market due to its strengthening of the relationship between functionality and performance."
Beyond its striking appearance, the wallywhy100 is designed for versatility, serving as a dayboat, weekender, or an extended cruise retreat. The lower deck houses a full-beam master cabin with ensuite, two guest cabins, and dedicated crew access, ensuring a seamless experience for all on board.
Stefano de Vivo, Wally's Managing Director, envisions the wallywhy100 as a game-changer, addressing the compromise between comfort and performance. He anticipates the yacht's enduring impact, stating, "Some 20 years from now, the industry will still look at the wallywhy100 as a yacht that dared to be different—something that is engrained in Wally DNA."
For those eager to witness the wallywhy100's marvel, the new model will make its debut at the 2024 Venice Boat Show and the 2024 Cannes Yachting Festival.
