1. Former US presidential yacht Sequoia sold for $0
The years of Delaware court fights over the the former U.S. presidential yacht Sequoia appear to be over as she has now been sold for zero dollars after an investment group won a court case over the vessel, the Guardian reports. Delaware judge Sam Glasscock ruled on Monday that FE Partners – an investment group with ties to a wealthy industrialist family in India – could exercise an option to acquire the Sequoia at an adjusted option price of zero.

The 66-meter Ester III, formerly known as Project Green, was built by Lurssen in 2014 and became the third yacht named after her owner's daughter. With an exterior design by Espen Oeino and an interior by Reymond Langton, the superyacht can accommodate 12 guests in a full beam master suite, three double cabins and two twins. Amongst Ester III's main features are an ornate fireplace in the main saloon, an infinity pool located aft of the main deck, an elevator, a spa center, a gym and a helipad located on the superyacht's bow.
Balk Shipyard is proud to announce that the 46.3 metre motor yacht Charisma sets sail to the Urk premises for a big refit. Built by Feadship to a design by De Voogt and delivered in 1985, Charisma will be refitted by the Dutch refit specialist. Completely rebuild in 2002, she has been kept in perfect condition by her owner and crew and has enjoyed busy seasons in the Caribbean and Mediterranean as a successful charter yacht. Charisma is due to be relaunched in Summer 2017.

Nauta Yachts has developed a new line for Picchiotti Yachts, which is a part of the Perini Navi Group. The first model, Exuma, is a new 50-metre, sub-500 GT all-aluminium cruiser. The styling is crisp with the design proposed to be on three decks with a hard-top sundeck. The aft transom area hosts a beach club, whilst the tenders being housed in their own garage in the bow section.
