Arcadia Yachts launched the latest Sherpa 80 XL on July 11 in the presence of its owner. This unit features a new layout. As well as boasting five cabins, the aft deck has been customized to the owner’s wishes with the new “Jardin D’Hiver” option, which enables the stern deck area to be closed off without sacrificing any of the characteristics.

In true Arcadia style, the 24m yacht offers an unbelievable total surface area of 220 sq. m (interior and exterior) to enjoy unencumbered by water toys and the tender, which are stowed in the side garage.

The propulsion system is based on Volvo Penta IPS technology and delivers a range of over 1,200 nautical miles at 10 knots and a top speed of around 23 knots, powered by two IPS 1350 engines.

To minimize environmental impact by using renewable energy sources, the Sherpa 80 XL has solar panels that provide around 3 kW of clean energy (enough to power the yacht’s main hospitality services) and is fitted with low-power devices and LED lighting.

Arcadia Yachts is based in Naples, Italy. Since 2008, Arcadia Yachts has been building semi-custom luxury composite yachts and has succeeded in perfectly integrating artisanal craftsmanship, modern technologies, attention to detail and to the surrounding environment. The Arcadia Yachts fleet has included two ranges since September 2016. The shipyard’s first and most characterizing range is the A range, which includes 4 models (A85, A85s, A105 and A115). The Sherpa range has a new model, the 24m Sherpa XL, which was launched at the 2019 Cannes Yachting Festival.
