Ipanema, the world's largest red yacht, was built by Mondomarine in 2016. Her striking red aluminium hull by Hot Lab features a beam of 9 m and a draft of 2.3 m. With her interior volume of 499 tons she can accommodate up to 12 guests within 7 cabins.
Techno wise, she is powered by MTU engines of 2575 hp each giving her a maximum speed of 19 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots. Ipanema's maximum range is estimated at 3500 nautical miles.

Built by American yard with a 100-year-long history, Palmer Johnson, Khalilah definitely features appearance of a futuristic superyacht.
At the moment she was launched in 2015, Khalilah was believed to be the largest yacht in the world built entirely out of carbon fibre. Moreover, her radical, angular hull design allows for a top speed of impressive 30 knots and cruises at 28 knots, with exceptional stability and comfort without the need for fins or gyro stabilisers.
The motor yacht can accommodate up to 10 guests in 5 cabins designed by Palmer Johnson' in-house team.

#3. Magenta
Finnish shipyard Baltic Yachts launched the Baltic 175 Pink Gin VI in 2017 as the world’s largest carbon fibre sloop. Thus, her key features include 67.9-metre tall sloop rig, set on carbon fibre spars, and remarkable accommodation design. She is also fitted with two balconies, which fold out to form openings in her topsides.
It is noticeable that her displacement of 235 tonnes (light craft) is low for a yacht of this size and has been achieved by using advanced carbon sandwich hull and deck construction methods. The sail plan is generous with a mast height of nearly 67 metres above the waterline.
Pink Gin VI was voted the Sailing Yacht of the Year at the prestigious World Superyacht Awards 2018. She can accommodate 14 guests in 7 cabins with an interior design by Design Unlimited and an exterior design by Judel-Vrolijk.
#4. Black
Launched in 2016, this already iconic vessel holds the title of the largest sailing yacht in the world. Inspired by Perini Navi's 88-metre Maltese Falcon, Black Pearl features similar to Maltese Falcon structure with three rotating masts, while the yacht is capable of crossing the Atlantic burning just 20 liters of fuel thanks to alternative power sources.
The Black Pearl’s striking exterior was designed by Nuvolari Lenard and Ken Freivokh, while her praised naval architecture was developed by Dyksra Architects, who had also previously worked on Maltese Falcon.
A combination of smart and elegant high-tech design and modernised state-of-the-art DynaRig sailing system makes the Black Pearl a unique vessel. Her hull outline is trademarked with an exclusive wave-piercing bow featuring not only graceful appearance, but also fuel efficiency.
Another key element of Black Pearl's development was her solar sails, which can actually produce energy whilst the yacht is underway thanks to solar panels built within the fabric of the sail.
#5. Turquoise
Regarded as modern classics, Go sports a fluidly sinuous exterior profile complemented by a rich contemporary interior, both developed London- based H2 Yacht Design. Her turquoise painted hull enhances the connection to the sea and is unified by a “water in motion” narrative that influenced the interior colours, metallic finishes, fabrics, textiles, and stonework.
All the tenders and toys, including the 5,5-metre rescue tender, are painted the yacht’s signature turquoise hull colour.
#6. Blue
The largest Oceanco' yacht so far, the 110-metre Jubilee was delivered in 2017.
Initially built for former emir of Qatar, the yacht was put on the market shortly before its delivery, asking price 275,000,000 €. Her sale was announced in November 2018, followed by the news on her coming refit with Lurssen. According to several industry sources, the yacht now belongs to an American billionaire.
With exteriors penned by Russian designer, Igor Lobanov, the yacht's exterior features fake, intermediary decks that make the yacht appear larger than it is when looked at from afar.
Jubilee can accommodate up to 32 guests in 16 cabins and carry a crew of 45. Key amenities onboard include a swimming pool with a built-in aquarium, a helipad and a large beach club.
#7. Green
Delivered in 2013, Sea Owl belongs to American computer scientist and co-CEO of Renaissance Technologies, Robert Mercer (worth $125,000,000, as of April, 2017 - Forbes). She is famous for her Peter-Pan-inspired green hull and unique ornate interiors, designed by Andrew Winch.
Sea owl's fairytale interiors include two children’s cabins, three guest suites and the owners’ stateroom, dedicated to different fantastic worlds. The rooms are trademarked with such elements as Venetian glass chandelier by Dale Chihuly, a carved gem-looking basin made of a single crystal block or a mural, carved of Peruvian mahogany.
Techno wise, she features a wide 12.2-metre beam and a large superstructure, ensuring the yacht’s accommodation capacity for 12 guests on-board. Powered by two MTU engines of 2038 HP, she can cruise comfortably at 14 knots and reach her top speed at 16 knots.
Italian marine manufacturers Castoldi and Nauta have developed the Jet Tender 34 Limo, marking Castoldi's first entry into the limousine tender segment. The 10.4-meter vessel will serve as ship-to-shore transportation for a new boutique cruise ship fleet under construction in Italy, with four limousine tenders and two support vessels ordered per vessel.Giacomo Castoldi, CEO of Castoldi, stated: "This project represents a new chapter for Castoldi that expands our offerings to new markets, while maintaining the commitment to innovation, quality, and luxury we are known for."
