Yacht designer Timur Bozca has unveiled the new yacht concept Sarco, inspired by the Ferocious Sarcosuchus Crocodile’s head and is capable of reaching a top speed over 53 knots thanks to her twin MTU V10 2000 M94 engines.
Envisioned with the blend of automotive and yacht design, this 19 metre luxury yacht is ready to take to the seas. Innovative use of carbon fibre, a material that will endow the craft with a very high degree of safety as well as extreme torsional stiffness.
This also gives the opportunity to explore new surface design and sculptural shapes to lure sensual design with sharp personality.
Aiming the upstate and luxury lovers, the styling is very sleek, modern and flamboyant. The exterior aesthetics are inspired from clean, sophisticated shapes of luxury products. The idea was bundled into a dramatic shape designed for the near future, thus propose advanced design, but giving sharp and dynamic looks also inspired from car design.
The pillar runs from the front towards the rear to signify the dynamics of energy shooting from the front to the rear and it reverses back to the front from under the side glasses. The arced body surface also supports the upper side glass connecting with the lower glass to form a unique iconic shape to give a distinctive identity to the yacht.
Another aesthetic importance was to celebrate the powerful engines of the yacht by showing them through the rear glass cabinet, which then connects seamlessly to the sun bed. The overall exterior aesthetic energy transforms from the front to rear and follows into the interior or upper deck.
The synergy of the motion in lines and surfaces shows the link from exterior to interior. The upper deck is a seamless flow of connected surfaces and symmetric design that gives a sense of beauty and comfort. The cockpit is uniquely positioned in the center to give a more powerful feel of the position, wrapped around by long, comfortable sofa with additional storage space packed in without disturbance to the over all design.
You will find the same sort of simplicity and purity on the inside extremely user-friendly while always adhering to our high standards in terms of aesthetics and attractive appearance and use of materials. The idea was to convey lightness and spacious feel in a compact area. Use of smart OLEDs for lighting and display gives a very crisp appeal. Over all design visions towards showing a futuristic feel along with homely comfort to make the user feel fresh and yet cozy
