Sunseeker International has unveiled a substantial £40 million investment encompassing new product development, workforce training, and production enhancements during the Cannes Yachting Festival 2023. The UK-based shipyard also reported a hefty order book totaling £625 million (€730 million).
Andrea Frabetti, the company's CEO, added, "We enter the 2023 and 2024 boat show season in a strong position."

Sunseeker has made substantial improvements to its shipyards, with the expansion of its primary shipyard facility in the Port of Poole now completed. The new Shed Y provides additional production capacity at the site and is the designated production facility for its new Ocean156 model. The initial production phase for the series is currently underway.
One year after announcing Sunseeker Gulf, the shipbuilder is also preparing to open a new office in Dubai, UAE.
Ocean 182
The shipyard also provided an update on new products in the Ocean range. Its new Ocean 182 model has arrived in the United States and will make its debut at the Newport Boat Show in Rhode Island on September 14, 2023. The 27-meter yacht offers spacious interior and four layout options across three decks.
"We eagerly anticipate showcasing our exceptional fleet of yachts at several upcoming boat shows in Europe and the United States in the coming weeks," Fabretti added.
Since 1969 Sunseeker Yachts has built composite semi-custom yachts from 12m to 47m. The shipyard's main facility is located in Poole.
