Benetti launched the second hull of 37m Motopanfilo at Viareggio facilities on April 1. The yacht was christened EH2. Inspired by the Benetti navettas of the sixties, this 37m Motopanfilo followed in the bow wave of these iconic leisure yachts owned by the likes of Prince Rainier and David Bowie in their day. Francesco Struglia, in collaboration with Benetti, designed the external lines, taking up the shapes and style of the past, while joining the hull and superstructure in a single harmonious shell. The profile, characterized by neat and clean cuts, has been elongated and refined with austere shapes.
The warm and light interior was made by Italian studio Lazzarini Pickering Architetti. The yacht can accommodate 10 guests between five cabins, including the owner suite at the bow of the main deck and four guest cabins on the lower deck.
EH2 will be delivered in May and this summer she will join the Ocean Independence charter fleet in the Mediterranean. Attending the launch, Ocean Independence sales broker Lukas Stratmann commented "For me, the Benetti Motopanfilo 37M is the ultimate in simplicity, blending iconic elements of a classic sixties heritage with decidedly twenty-first century thinking. We are delighted to see EH2 launch and look forward to delivery to her owner this May.”
