Riva has launched the Riva 82' Diva at the shipyard in La Spezia. This new flybridge yacht joins the esteemed fleet of flybridges, which includes celebrated vessels like the Riva 90' Argo, Riva 102' Corsaro Super, Riva 110' Dolcevita, and Riva 130' Bellissima. Beyond its size, the Riva 82' Diva redefines spatial utilization with a revolutionary approach.
The interior and exterior spaces, which harmoniously combine functionality and elegance, creating an unparalleled experience for guests, was made by Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta, founders of Officina Italiana Design, along with the Strategic Product Committee led by Piero Ferrari and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department.
The outdoor areas take center stage, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the sea and revel in expansive spaces that are unprecedented for this category. The 40 sq. m flybridge, one of the largest in its class, offers dedicated zones for lounging, dining, and sunbathing. The carbon fiber hardtop with glass panels ensures comfort and protection.
The main deck features a spacious stern beach club with two large bulwarks that swing down, extending the width of the area by 3 meters. This versatile space houses a garage for a jet tender and a seabob. At the forward end of the beach club, the raised cockpit boasts sea-view sofas, providing a generous living area of nearly 35 sq. m.
The interior design presents innovative solutions that blend design and comfort seamlessly. The saloon features a cockpit-level living space flowing into a raised panoramic dining area, creating a cohesive setting. The galley, helm station, and forward lounge area seamlessly connect, ensuring a fluid spatial experience. Glass walls dissolve the boundaries between the stairwell and the flybridge, becoming an integral part of the decor.
The lower deck offers four cabins, including a full-beam owner's cabin and three guest cabins, all with ensuite bathrooms, accommodating up to eight guests. The crew quarters, with two separate cabins and three beds, ensure privacy for both guests and the owner.
Owners can choose between two engine options: a pair of MAN V12 1800 engines for a top speed of 29 knots and a cruising speed of 26, or two MAN V12 1900 engines for a top speed of 31 knots and a cruising speed of 27 (provisional data).
With an impressive length of over 25 meters and a maximum beam exceeding 6 meters, the Riva 82' Diva combines iconic features from its predecessors with innovative elements, such as painted composite profiles on the lateral gunwales. The yacht will make its official debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2023.
