In recent weeks, the aluminium hull of the new Pershing 140 was in the spotlight during a moving operation. Its destination was the dedicated facility in which all the construction activities will be carried out within the Super Yacht Yard in Ancona, where the Ferretti Group has concentrated production of its of 28- to 90-metre fleet in lightweight alloy, steel and fibreglass, under the CRN, Pershing, Riva and Custom Line brands.

First unveiled in December 2015, her design is the result of a collaboration between Ferretti Group's Pershing team and naval architect Fulvio De Simoni. 43.53m Pershing 140 is the biggest yacht ever built by the brand and the first in its 32-year history to be built in Ancona, Pershing's new “home” alongside the original production site in Mondolfo.

Once the hull was positioned and secured inside the production facility, the initial stages of the work began with the outfitting of the yacht and the on-board installation of the superstructure blocks. These activities will continue until September. In late September, the skeleton of the hull and superstructure will be completely assembled and work will continue over subsequent months with the outfitting of the engine room, technical systems and interiors.

Pershing 140 will be equipped with four MTU M96L 16V 2000 engines, generating 2600 Mhp, which will propel the flagship to a maximum speed of 38 knots at the trial load (preliminary data).

VisionF Yachts Reveals Interiors of New 30.7m Aluminum Catamaran
VisionF Yachts has unveiled interior details of its VISIONF 101, a 30.7-meter aluminum power catamaran currently under construction at the Turkish shipyard. The vessel, scheduled for launch in autumn 2025, represents the builder's largest project to date and will be the first aluminum catamaran of its size built to RINA Commercial Class standards.The VISIONF 101 features a shallow 1.45-meter draft designed for coastal cruising and access to secluded bays. Accommodation includes four guest cabins, with the owner's suite spanning 29.5 square meters across half of the starboard hull. New Appointment: Andrea Antichi as General Manager of Azimut Yachts
The Azimut|Benetti Group has named Andrea Antichi as General Manager of its Azimut division, effective May 12, 2025. Antichi, who reports directly to CEO Marco Valle, will oversee strategic direction and operational objectives, including ongoing enhancements to the division's production facilities.A mechanical engineer, Antichi previously served as Chief Manufacturing Officer at Ferrari, where he worked for 19 years. New Exterior Details of 52m GTT 170 Revealed by Dynamiq
Dynamiq has released new exterior images of its 52-meter GTT 170 superyacht, currently under construction at its Antalya shipyard in Turkey. The aluminum-hulled vessel, designed for shallow-water cruising with a 2-meter draft, targets owners in the U.S. and Middle East markets, with delivery scheduled for the 2027 Mediterranean season.The GTT 170 features naval architecture by Vripack, combining a top speed of 19 knots with IMO Tier III-compliant MAN V12 1,066 kW engines and an integrated battery pack. The stabilization system includes four electric fins and a Hull Vane aft foil to reduce pitch motion.Accommodation comprises five guest staterooms and an owner's suite, with a two-level beach club featuring a pool, bar, and spa with fold-out terraces. The sun deck includes an outdoor cinema and lounge areas.Dobroserdov Design developed the exterior, while Claudio Pironi & Partners created minimalist interiors using teak and natural marble. Ferretti Group's Custom Line brand has launched four new custom yachts at its Ancona shipyard within eight weeks, including two Navetta models and two planing vessels. The launches demonstrate the shipyard's capacity for bespoke construction, with each yacht reflecting owner-specific customization through collaborative design processes.Custom Line 30#23The first vessel, a 32.82-meter Custom Line 106' (hull #24), launched on January 9, features exterior design by Ferretti Group Engineering and interiors developed by Custom Line Atelier in consultation with the Middle Eastern owner. The yacht's minimalist aesthetic combines dark wall coverings with light surfaces, complemented by freestanding furniture and folding guest tables. A social-focused flybridge completes the layout.On February 13, the 34th Custom Line Navetta 33 (33m x 7.52m) debuted for a European family. With a length of 38.36 metres and a beam of 7.65 metres, this yacht combines a sleek silhouette with styling that effectively mirrors the owner’s vision. Designed for the AMAS market, the yacht stands out for her generous, welcoming spaces, where chairs with armrests and deep armchairs reveal a clear desire for comfort. The interiors, decorated with a palette of bright neutral colours, are styled with a simple but refined approach. The made-to-measure master bathroom features a pair of Calacatta Oro marble basins in the centre and beside them a vanity table with opening mirror and incorporated pouf; the generous shower cubicle is on the starboard side and the sanitary area is located to port. The care lavished on the layout and detailing highlights the bespoke nature of the design, driven by the desire to offer the ultimate in well-being.
