Pershing has shared the photos of its largest project ever, 43.53m Pershing 140, on the move. First unveiled in December 2015, her design is the result of a collaboration between Ferretti Group's Pershing team and naval architect Fulvio De Simoni.
The lower deck features 4 guest suites, including three VIP double suites and one twin cabin. Two of the VIP cabins are located along the sides, towards the stern, while the third one can be found at the extreme bow. The twin cabin with private head, instead, is situated on the left side of the yacht. Another alluring feature of the Pershing 140 is the concealed private area up forward. When the yacht is either anchored or moored, the otherwise hidden area is opened up to reveal a customizable zone for taking in the sun.
As for the performance, the Pershing 140 has three possible engine configurations to offer. The owner can choose between two options of twin MTU 4000 M93L engines, either 12V or 16V, with hydro-jet propulsion to take the yacht to 24 knots and 33 knots respectively. For for the speed lovers, a third variation of four MTU M94 engines would deliver a maximum top speed of 38 knots. The Pershing 140 is expected to make her premiere in 2018.
This flagship is highly innovative, as typical of the brand's DNA. On the other hand, we decided to make the least possible invasive changes, preserving those iconic design elements that make every single Pershing yacht truly unmistakable at first sight. Such a consistent, harmonious evolution, always in line with an unfailingly original approach to yachting, endows the Pershing 140 with an unprecedented style, which is however coherent with a history I am proud to be part of
Fulvio De Simoni
The main deck of the vessel hosts a spacious living area followed by a dining area. There are also the captain's quarters and the owner's suite. In the forward most section of the cabin are a large walk-in wardrobe to the right and two large separate heads to the left. The aft part of the main deck has been raised into a mezzanine level, creating more space for a water-level beach club with fold out sides.
