Massimiliano Casoni has joined the Group as General Manager of Benetti. This new appointment is part of the process of consolidating the brand’s organization and management, with the aim of boosting support for the company’s growth and success.
Casoni, who started work in his new role last September 4th, will report directly to CEO Marco Valle and is tasked with supervising the management of Benetti operations, focusing on new product development and the rationalization and efficiency of Benetti’s Livorno and Viareggio shipyards, while ensuring that the design and build quality of products remains at the very highest market levels.

After completing his mechanical engineering degree at Bologna University in 1995, Massimiliano Casoni accumulated over two decades of valuable experience in leadership roles within international industrial groups, including prestigious luxury brands. His career journey began with his initial professional role at SCM group, followed by his transition to Ferrari in 1999. In 2000, he joined Maserati, where he assumed various managerial positions, eventually becoming Production Manager in 2002.
Between 2005 and 2015, Casoni contributed significantly to Ferrari, taking on diverse roles such as Manufacturing Director and Gran Turismo Product Development Team Leader. In 2012, he advanced to the position of Production Processes Director. Before assuming his current role at Benetti, Massimiliano Casoni served as the Chief Operating Officer at Technogym Group, where he dedicated eight years to his responsibilities.
