The newest Nick Stark Design Project Grace follows after the presentation of 94m Project Crystal. The new concept features NSD's signature styling, with flowing surfaces and voluminous glazing. The key design idea is connection to the environment. The 64m yacht features a wellness area, hot tub and a pool.
The yacht has three decks, the full-beam VIP cabin located on the main deck and the owner’s suite with panoramic views on the upper deck.
A custom sound, DJ and integrated lighting system is capable of ensuring a party feel throughout the yacht, or bespoke chill across the entertaining spaces.
"It's easy to forget that owners experience the yacht from the inside out – a stunning silhouette is a thing of beauty, but for most of your time on board you will be looking out, not in. Attention to glazing detail is crucial," says Nick Stark, the yacht's naval architect and stylist.
Technical performance of the yacht is a high priority. CFD optimised hull lines in concert with lithium battery systems and controllable pitch propulsion ensures not only ideal transit speeds, but also minimal running cost. Comfort on board is maximised through the use of both gyroscopic and fin-based stabilisation systems.
Spending nearly 20 years as Silver Yachts' senior naval architect, Nick Stark started at Silver Yachts (then called Hanseatic Marine) during the early design phase of hull number one. He worked to help realise the Espen Oeino penned Silver, Silver Zwei, Smeralda, Silver Fast and Bold from concept to sea trials. Opening up a bespoke design studio has allowed Nick to focus on projects that had been waiting in the wings for when he’d have the time, energy and patience to bring them to life.
