Moonen Yachts announces the availability of a new build yacht based on the successful Moonen Martinique design. YN205, the seventh Moonen Martinique delivered, will be a long-range, steel-hulled yacht that measures 37m and will be delivered in April 2025.
The Moonen Martinique’s award-winning exterior design by Dutch designer René van der Velden is timeless and elegant, offering many possibilities for custom color schemes and styling. YN205 will have an interior designed by the young and talented team at Hollander Yacht Design, and they have developed three custom concepts to consider – barefoot luxury, timeless elegance, and contemporary touch.
Contemporary touch interior
“Hollander Yacht Design have developed three custom interior concepts for YN205. These three concepts show our customers the wide scope they have to create unique and personal spaces. Now is the perfect time for them to make the next Moonen Martinique their own,” says commercial director Victor Caminada.

The yacht offers a transatlantic range of 4,000 miles and has a top speed of 16.5 knots, thanks to a fast-displacement hull built from strong and lightweight High Tensile Steel. The naval architecture was completed by Moonen’s longstanding engineering partner Diana Yacht Design.
YN205 has a gross tonnage of 345 and accommodates up to 12 guests and seven crew members. The yacht measures 37.4m in length overall, with a beam of 8m and a draft of 2.2m.

Four Moonen Martiniques are currently sailing the world: Brigadoon, Kokoro, Botti, and Cocoon. Currently at the shipyard, Moonen is completing two new Martiniques for delivery to their owners in 2024.
Moonen Yachts is a yacht builder based in the Netherlands, and its first yacht was built in 1964 under the original yard name of De Ruiter. In 1981, the yard was renamed Moonen Shipyards. It’s launching its first vessel under new ownership: Alhena. In 2017 Moonen Shipyards changed into Moonen Yachts. With the help of strong vision, innovative technology and new designers, Moonen is once again becoming the market leader in 30m to 50m luxury yachts.
