The 110-meter Jubilee has been delivered by Dutch-based Oceanco in July. Now the largest yacht ever built in the Netherlands has been spotted in Gibraltar.
With an exterior penned by Russian designer, Igor Lobanov, the yacht can carry a total of 31 guests in 16 cabins catered to by a crew of 45. Key amenities onboard include a swimming pool with a built-in aquarium, a helipad and a large beach club.

Powered by twin MTU engines of 4,828hp each, Jubilee can reach a maximum speed of 18.5 knots and cruise at 14 knots for up to 5,000 nautical miles. She becomes the latest in a string of impactful projects for Oceanco including the largest sailing yacht in the world, the 106-meter Black Pearl and the 88-meter Barbara.

Benetti’s new Oasis 34M fiberglass superyacht brings the Oasis Deck® solution in a length of just 34 meters. Like her big sister, Oasis 40M, the yacht’s exterior styling is the work of UK firm RWD and the interiors are by Bonetti/Kozerski, the New York based architects specializing in residential and hôtellerie projects, chosen by the shipyard for their international and cosmopolitan approach to design that values the aesthetics of discrete luxury. The yacht has an elegant vertical bow and a sleek outline that slopes gently down to the water, broken only by the wheelhouse with its vertical windscreen and the floor-to-ceiling windows. The Oasis Deck® has five signature features: two wings that open out on either side; an incorporated infinity pool with a glass side wall, surrounded by a sunbathing and lounging area; a 270-degree view aft, uninterrupted by railings and sofas; seamless interconnection with the interior space for a mix of sun and shade, ensuring the entire main deck can be enjoyed at any time of day and, finally, a social design that frames the whole deck as one big oasis of social interaction. Oasis 34M spreads across three decks. She has a large sun deck with hard top, and multiple outdoor areas. For the interior Bonetti/Kozerski chose the neutral color palette and casual feeling. The interiors connect seamlessly with the stern terraces: two curved sliding doors open out onto the main living area and disappear out of view to create one big open space. The spacious full lounge living area is defined by sofas whose flowing contours give the decor a modern and informal personality, while the dining area is located in the skylounge on the upper deck. The owner’s suite with full-height windows occupies the entire forward section of the main deck and can be fitted with a terrace that opens out on the starboard side. The skylounge on the upper deck is home to the dining area. Served by a convenient pantry, it is linked by a dumb waiter to the galley on the main deck and opens out onto a stern terrace furnished with sofas and armchairs. Another outdoor dining area is located on the sundeck. The lower deck for guest accommodation has two VIP and two twin cabins. The wheelhouse is a high-tech helm station with vertical floor-to-ceiling glazing ensuring maximum visibility. The modern design of the console facilitates instrumentation use by the captain and conveys the beauty of cruising to guests and crew. Founded in 1873, Benetti is the oldest Italian shipyard specializing in luxury yachts. Benetti designs, builds and sells composite vessels from 29 to 44m and steel and aluminium boats from 37 to over 100m. Design firm Isola Corvus together with beiderbeck designs introduces a new sailing concept, the 41m Velarca 135. She is designed to fill the missing spot in the yachting industry. “Velarca 135 is our answer for the sustainable future and to the environmental goals set in Glasgow 2021,” says in the company statement.Velarca has a streamlined, motor yacht like profile featuring a very large beach club at the stern, providing a stylish lounge area and a very large swim platform, with additional space for effortless indoor-outdoor living and entertaining. For functionality and easy access Velarca 135 has a lift to the front bulkhead of the beach club which makes all decks and areas safely accessible for everyone. The generous layout has two versions. The deluxe version with the large owner’s cabin will accommodate 10 people, the charter optimized layout has cabins for 12 guests. All cabins are large and equipped with a private toilet and shower with plenty of window space. Cabins are located nearby the staircase that leads to the large dining and living room upstairs. The yacht's general arrangement and styling as well as the main technical features such as the completely new kind of rig are specifically designed to make the transition from motor yachting to a more low carbon alternative, sailing, as effortless as possible. Even though the nature of Velarca is clearly a cruising yacht, the hull shape, keel and the rudder are the latest available technology from offshore racing circuits. The yacht also comes with three different keel options depending on the intended use and the sportiest fixed keel version provides a racing yacht like performance.Velarca 135 has a completely new kind of rig with three self-tacking and hydraulically furling jibs (The “Fisherman sail” being upside down) that can be opened or reefed by using the push buttons at the cockpit. Handling the sails of this yacht doesn't therefore require a small army of deck crew but instead it has been automated as far as possible. Isola Corvus Oy (Ltd) is a Finnish newcomer in the super yacht industry. Company is founded by Sami Lehtonen and Sanna-Kaisa Koivisto, offshore racing partners, innovators and entrepreneurs. The Velarca project started, when these two sailors and explorers found out through intense market research that there is room for a specific kind of sailing yacht in the market and decided to act. The beiderbeck lmmo Lüdeling and Tim Ulrich sketched the Velarca 135 design.Credits: Isola Corvus Oy
