Riva ventures into a new era of sustainable luxury with the launch of the Riva El-Iseo, the brand's inaugural full-electric powerboat. Representing the dawn of Riva's E-Luxury segment, the El-Iseo epitomizes the perfect harmony between heritage and innovation.
Crafted under the visionary guidance of Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta, founders of Officina Italiana Design, and in collaboration with the Strategic Product Committee led by Piero Ferrari and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, the El-Iseo stands as a testament to Riva's commitment to environmental stewardship and technological advancement.
Alberto Galassi, CEO of the Ferretti Group, emphasizes, "Riva El-Iseo isn’t only the world’s most beautiful full-electric powerboat, but also proof that investing in research and development opens up new paths to sustainability and environmental awareness."
With its sleek 27-foot (8.40 m) design, the El-Iseo seamlessly blends traditional Riva aesthetics with modern, eco-friendly technology. The polished mahogany deck, stainless steel detailing, and refined sky fabric cushions showcase Riva's signature style, while the California Sky Blue hull color and aquamarine beauty line add a contemporary flair.
Setting a new standard for safety and performance, the El-Iseo achieves RINA Category B certification, a testament to its seaworthiness and compliance with rigorous safety standards.
Powered by a Parker GVM310 full-electric engine and equipped with a high-energy-density lithium battery pack from Podium Advanced Technologies, the El-Iseo delivers unparalleled speed and efficiency. With cruising modes named after classical music terms—Adagio, Andante, and Allegro—the El-Iseo offers versatility and range, catering to various cruising preferences.
Peter Wilson, co-founder of Marine Construction Management (MCM), the owner's representative for the El-Iseo project, underscores the meticulous attention to safety and innovation. "Our focus was on ensuring on-board safety and implementing measures to mitigate risks," says Wilson.
As the first model in Riva's E-Luxury segment, the El-Iseo marks a significant milestone in Ferretti Group's sustainability journey, embodying the essence of Riva's legacy while embracing cutting-edge technology. Unveiled to the world at the Monaco Yacht Club in 2022, the El-Iseo has undergone rigorous testing, including participation in the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge, reaffirming its status as a trailblazer in electric luxury boating.
The Ferretti Group, led by Chief Executive Officer Alberto Galassi, is now one of the world’s leaders in the construction and sale of luxury yachts and pleasure vessels, with a unique portfolio of brands: Ferretti Yachts, Riva, Pershing, Itama, Mochi Craft, CRN, Custom Line and Wally.
