Benetti has shared the images of 67m bespoke superyacht Calex, which was built for a Californian owner in 2022. Her exterior was made by Cassetta Yacht Designers, while the contemporary interiors, featuring precious marble and fine wood, are designed by the Shipyard’s Style Department. The fabrics used for the decorative cushions are by Loro Piana Interiors. Calex has a steel hull and an aluminum superstructure.
Spread across five decks, plus a sundeck, Calex's new technology helps her to minimize noise transmission and ensure silent navigation at a speed of 12 knots.
Upper deck saloon
The upper deck is one of the vessel's highlights with its surface area of 160 sq. m devoted entirely to the owner’s personal spaces. A huge master cabin, containing a spacious suite, an elegant double bathroom, a private office and a walk-in wardrobe, extends from midships onto the foredeck outside and offers a 180-degree view, with two curved automatic sliding doors opening out onto an exclusive lounge area furnished with chaises longues, armchairs, a table and an original gas fireplace.
Master suite
The foredeck can also be used as a touch and go helicopter pad. On the same deck, an open area in the stern, with a dining table and a relaxation area furnished with armchairs and other seating, is complemented by an interior lounge with a TV cabinet.
Upper deck lounge
The main lounge offers a dining table seating 12, complemented by plush sofas and armchairs. Adjacent to the main lounge is a well-equipped galley, catering to every culinary desire.
Main saloon
The owner's vision included two luxurious VIP cabins on the main deck, strategically positioned on opposite sides of the yacht, offering privacy and comfort. Additionally, Calex boasts two garages in the bow, each designed to accommodate the main tender and an array of water toys, enhancing guests' enjoyment of the surrounding waters.
VIP cabin
The lower deck features four well-appointed guest cabins – two double cabins and two with convertible twin beds. These accommodations are thoughtfully separated from the crew's quarters, which can accommodate up to 16 crew members. Upon the owner's request, the crew area is adorned with materials and furnishings akin to those found in the guest spaces, ensuring a cohesive and elegant interior throughout.
Guest cabin
At the heart of the lower deck lies the spacious engine room, a marvel of engineering compliant with TIER III regulations – Benetti's first on a full custom yacht of this size.
The lower deck also houses the expansive beach club and swim platform, inviting guests to indulge in waterside pleasures. An innovative gullwing door floods the beach club with natural light and provides easy access to the water through a swing-down hatch on the starboard side.
Beach club
The bridge deck is centered around the captain's domain and the wheelhouse, while an outdoor lounge area furnished with a bar, sofas, TV cabinet, and barbecue beckons guests to relish the breathtaking views.
