Heesen Yachts announces a significant advancement in the creation of the full custom 57-meter motor yacht, known as Project Setteesettanta, as the hull and superstructure are joined and the engines are placed. This achievement provides the first look at the yacht's profile, showcasing the harmonious design crafted by Omega Architects.
Marking a pivotal point in the construction process, this phase highlights Heesen's renowned craftsmanship and engineering prowess, bringing the stunning silhouette of this shallow draft vessel to life. Designed for versatility, the exterior seamlessly merges elegance with functionality, enabling exploration across various waterways.
Cristiano Gatto, who has collaborated with Heesen on twelve previous projects, lends his design expertise to the luxurious interiors, ensuring that every detail reflects the owners' vision for comfort and style. Serving as both interior designer and Owner’s Representative, Gatto expressed his appreciation for the owners' trust: "This project is a pioneering venture, where our studio passionately engages in both interior design and as the Owner’s Representative. Today, we appreciate the beauty of this project in reality, and the experience of witnessing the design come to life is truly remarkable."
Recently, the vital marble selection process took place in Verona, Italy, ensuring that the highest quality materials are used to complement the yacht’s sophisticated design, which reflects Gatto’s meticulous standards and Heesen's precise construction.
Project Setteesettanta is set to be the first Heesen yacht to feature a bridge on the fourth deck, enhancing the innovative design while maintaining the sleek aesthetic. Additional features include a discreet mast and new flat Star Link communication panels. The yacht prioritizes owner privacy, boasting a specially reserved upper deck and a master stateroom with breathtaking views and a private terrace.
Heesen CEO Niels Vaessen remarked, "We're honored that these experienced yacht owners have entrusted us once again with the construction of a custom yacht. Project Setteesettanta truly embodies Heesen’s core values, with its aluminium hull, shallow draft, and precise engineering. Witnessing this 57-meter yacht take shape fills us with pride. Celebrating this milestone alongside the owners and their team is particularly meaningful. We take pride in our in-house skills and capabilities and are eager to grow as a shipyard, driven by the inspiring vision of expert owners."
With the installation of two MTU 16V2000 engines, Project Setteesettanta is one step closer to completion, promising outstanding performance and luxury at sea, with a top speed of 18 knots. The yacht will now progress into the outfitting phase, with a launch scheduled for January 2026.
