Leading Italian yacht builder Benetti has sequently delivered the fifth hull in its Delfino 95 series named Baya and the fourth hull in its Mediterraneo 116 series, named Good Day.
The 29-metre Baya features sporting exterior design by Giorgio M Cassetta, and “luminious interiors” created by Benetti in-house design team. The previous ship from Delfino 95 series, Eurus, took delivery in March 2019.
M/Y Baya
Baya offers accommodation for up to 8 guests, across the main-deck master suite at the bow, two VIPs and two doubles on the lower deck, alongside crew accommodation for five crew members and a captain at the bow.
The yacht’s main deck comprises a large living space with a dining table for 10, in addition to a galley equipped with a large wine cellar. Meanwhile, Baya’s key interior materials include Eucalyptus and Tay woods with polished brass detailing.
The upper deck is dedicated to al fresco entertainment, with two sofas, a dining table at the stern and a navigation bridge overlooking the Jacuzzi. A second bridge sits on the sun deck, with a teak and aluminium table.
Propeled by two 1,000hp MAN v8 engines, Baya will boast maximum speed of 13.5 knots and a range of 2,400 nautical miles at 10 knots.
The 35.5m Good Day was sold in August 2017 and launched at the beginning of this year at Viareggio facility. Good Day features exteriors by Giorgio M. Cassetta and interiors by Benetti in-house designers.
M/Y Good Day
Constructed from a fibreglass hull and carbon-fibre superstructure, Good Day sleeps up to 10 guests across five cabins. The cabins layout comprises full-beam owner’s suite and private study on the main deck, also featuring a bathtub and shower bench. The four guest cabins meanwhile sit on the lower deck, each including their own bathrooms embellished with different marbles. Meanwhile, the crew quarters on the lower deck allow accommodation for a staff of six and the captain.
The main deck is fitted with a 12-seat table, along with large galley with a modern wok system and high-performance steam oven. Furthermore, Good Day offers entertainment spaces on the upper deck, accessible by elevator. Guests will be able to let loose in the karaoke and games cabin, enjoy the selection from the onboard wine cellar or make their way to the sun deck to enjoy more unbeatable views. The swimming pool also sits on the upper deck.
Good Day’s interior design features three types of wood, tay, Tanganyika and elm, across the yacht. Marble details and mosaics are also present, specifically in the bathrooms. It is also noticeable that the yacht’s ventilation system, her standout feature, allows smoking inside.
With her MAN V12-1400 engines, Good Day boasts a top speed of 15 knots and cruising speed of 14 knots.
The deliveries come in a short break from the builder's impressive gigayacht season, with three consequent 100-metre-plus premieres within 100 days earlier this year.
