The CRN Ciao, a 52-meter superyacht showcasing an exceptional design and construction quality from the Ancona yard, has clinched the prestigious Best in Motor <500 GT (above 24m) category at the 2023 ISS Design and Leadership Awards. The award ceremony, held on October 26 at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Fort Lauderdale Beach, brought together prominent figures from the nautical world.
In its 33rd edition, these esteemed awards, pioneers in the yachting realm, celebrate excellence in design, engineering, and innovation. Acknowledging CRN's unwavering dedication, creativity, and innovative prowess, the ISS Design and Leadership Awards recognize designs that stand out not only for their naval architecture and engineering solutions but also for their aesthetics and elegant lines.
Ciao's standout features, including its sleek lines, vertical bow, and seamless integration of internal and external spaces, impressed the jury. The abundant windows allowing natural light to accentuate the vibrant colors of the furnishings and materials were highly praised. On the technical front, the open-air garage's clever use to keep the yacht under 500 GT and the efficient handling of space for enhanced on-board entertainment received accolades.
This 52-meter vessel was designed and constructed by CRN, with external lines conceptualized by architecture and design studio Omega Architects and spacious outdoor guest areas and well-lit interiors crafted by architects Massari Design.
Measuring 52 meters in length and 9 meters in beam, this five deck yacht, with a gross tonnage of 499 GT, accommodates up to 10 guests in the opulent main-deck owner suite and four VIP cabins on the lower deck. The vessel also features six cabins for its 11 crew members.
