Riva has introduced the El-Iseo, its inaugural all-electric day boat, at Boot Düsseldorf. This marks a significant shift in Riva's 180-year history towards sustainable and cleaner maritime solutions.
Debuting in prototype form at the Monaco Yacht Show last September, the final production model showcased in Germany promises a cleaner, quieter, and more efficient seafaring experience. The 27-meter vessel features a Parker GVM310 electric engine, producing 250 kW to 300 kW. This enables the yacht to cruise at 25 knots with a top speed of 40 knots. Riva highlights a notably steeper acceleration curve compared to a similarly sized internal combustion engine-powered boat. The El-Iseo is equipped with 150 kWh lithium battery packs, offering up to 10 hours of cruising in economy mode before requiring a charge.
Beyond its impressive electric capabilities, the El-Iseo stays true to Riva's renowned classic styling. The yacht boasts a sculpted windshield, a spacious inner cockpit, a wooden foredeck with a pinstripe design, and a large rear sun pad over the engine boxes. Chrome accents on lights, cleats, and air vents add a touch of elegance, while the bow features a functional and beautiful anchor. The production model enhances the aesthetic with a striking metallic-blue hull and stylish two-tone upholstery.
The El-Iseo's interior features an ultramodern digital helm with a touchscreen dashboard reminiscent of Riva's classic models' analog dials. Integrated onboard electrical systems by Xenta provide seamless control. The yacht offers three drive modes – Allegro, Andante, and Adagio.
