Dutch builder Heesen has announced delivery of its latest superyacht of the 5000 Aluminium Class, 50-metre semi-displacement motor yacht YN 18750 Masa.

The yacht that was launched in April 2019, features 5000 Aluminium exteriors by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects. She is trademarked with classic, timeless and streamlined lines that evoke speed and bring the yachts a distinguishing aesthetics.
Masa carries classic Awlgrip white colour scheme and the pelican beak bow with negative sheer.

The interior concept by Cristiano Gatto also celebrates the lineage of Masa’s predecessors, reinterpreting some of their most striking design elements, such as the silver leaf ceilings, the curved pieces of furniture and the use of brushed spruce. Fresh and elegant décor combines light colours palette with silver.
The guests of up to 12 people will find accommodation across five lower deck suites and a master stateroom on the main deck, accompanied by 9 crews. Three lounges and three dining rooms, a bar and a top-deck open-air Jacuzzi will be also found at the guests' disposal.

Masa’s naval architecture was developed by Heesen’s in-house team. The vessel with interior volume of below 500 GT features a fully-aluminium semi-displacement hull. Thanks to her lightweight aluminium construction and two MTU 16V 4000 diesel engines, Masa’s stated top speed makes 23 knots.
Still, during the two days of tests in moderate sea conditions in the North Sea, Masa even exceeded the contractual speed of 23 knots.

As to other project of the yard, they are currently working on 55-metre Project Pollux and 55-metre Project Castor among others.
