Sanlorenzo Asia, represented by Simpson Marine, has sold Asia’s first hull of the new Sanlorenzo SP110 shortly after her world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival.
The SP110 is the first model from Sanlorenzo’s brand new open Smart Performance (SP) series and offers impressive performance, topping 40 knots of speed at the lowest fuel consumption. The water jet propulsion by triple MAN V-12 2000 HP engines ensures top efficiency and comfort at every speed range and on board solar panels supply power to run the hotel load.
The SP110 was made possible in collaboration of team of professionals – Bernardo Zuccon is responsible for the exterior, Tilli Antonelli for product development, Marco Arnaboldi for the hull design, and Piero Lissoni for the interiors.
At 33.5 meters long and 8 meters wide, this two-level yacht will feature a generous three-cabin plus office layout. Construction will make use of state of the art, lightweight materials and the owners will collaborate with the yard to develop a bespoke interior design.
"We are delighted to have received the first order for this amazing new yacht by Sanlorenzo, which pushes the boundaries of design, performance and sustainability to the next level,” says Nick Stratton, Sanlorenzo Asia Sales Manager. “It is an incredibly powerful yacht that is at the same time elegant, light, nearly silent at high speeds, and provides incredibly smooth handling.”
The yacht is set for delivery in spring 2024.
Sanlorenzo was founded in 1958 in Viareggio by yacht builder Gionvanni Jannetti. In 2005, Massimo Perrotti became the majority shareholder in the shipyard. Sanlorenzo builds yachts ranging from 28.60 to 62 meters in length.
