La Bimba

La Bimba, designed by the famous Scottish naval architects of GL Watson & Company along traditional lines, was built as Themara in Troon, Scotland by Ailsa Shipbuilding in 1962. This compact ocean going yacht, powered by twin Gardner diesels (now completely rebuilt) has cruised extensively in all latitudes including a circumnavigation starting in 1988. La Bimba is now lying in Italy where considerable money has already been spent as part of a comprehensive refit. With much cosmetic work still to be completed she represents a unique opportunity for a new owner to complete the refit to his own particular requirements.
