The conversion reportedly took Platinum Yachts 18 months in Dubai.Dubawi is a 90.60m (297.24 ft) luxury motor yacht. She was built by Cantieri Navale Ferrari in 1989 making the yacht 26 years old. With a beam of 15.30m and a draft of 4.00m, she has a steel hull and steel superstructure. This adds up to a gross tonnage of 4077 tones. She is classified by RINA.
She is powered by MAN engines of 3430hp each, capable of reaching a maximum speed of 15 knots and cruise at 14 knots .
