Bernardo and Martina Zuccon have received the prestigious 2024 Compasso d’Oro for their design of the Sanlorenzo SP110. The Compasso d’Oro, awarded by the Associazione per il Disegno Industriale (ADI), is recognized as the world's oldest and most authoritative industrial design award. The ceremony took place at the ADI Design Museum in Milan.
The SP110 project was honored for its innovative approach to yacht design, combining new proportions, a balance of transparent and opaque surfaces, and novel living solutions. The design emphasizes sustainability in construction and use, reflecting the Zuccon International Project’s commitment to continuous innovation.

The jury's citation praised the SP110 for its concept of a "floating home" and its impact on both yachting and architecture. It was selected from 32 products and services in the 2022 and 2023 ADI Design Index. The SP110's strategic focus on renewing production processes in the yacht sector was highlighted as a significant achievement.
“For our firm, this award is our most important achievement in design, and we feel honored to receive it for the SP110, a project that explores new ideas in on-board living,” said Bernardo Zuccon, who accepted the award in person. He also noted the successful collaboration with Sanlorenzo, a partnership that has been ongoing for years.
Established in 1954 by Gio Ponti, the Compasso d’Oro has recognized approximately 370 projects over 70 editions. The inclusion of the Sanlorenzo SP110 in this esteemed group underscores the growth and innovation in yacht design, marking a significant milestone for Zuccon International Project, founded by Gianni Zuccon and Paola Galeazzi.
