The wallywind110 is set to make its world debut at the Monaco Yacht Show 2024, marking a significant milestone in Wally’s 30th anniversary year. This debut also introduces the first model in the new wallywind performance cruiser range, which will include the wallywind130 and wallywind150.
The semi-custom sail model project began in 2022, shortly after Wally joined the Ferretti Group, and came to fruition with its launch in June. The second wallywind110 is already under construction, underscoring the momentum of this innovative line.
The wallywind110 features an all-carbon hull, laminated in a female mould, and will captivate enthusiasts at the Monaco Yacht Show with its metallic paint that shifts from bright to subtle blue tones with the changing light. Its performance credentials are bolstered by a 6.95-meter telescopic keel, carbon fibre twin rudders, and a towering 48-meter Hall Spars rig, ensuring Wally’s continued prominence in the sailing superyacht industry.
Combining Wally’s signature style with advanced performance, the wallywind110’s naval architecture by judel/vrolijk & co seamlessly integrates with the interior and exterior design, crafted by Wally’s design team led by Luca Bassani in collaboration with Santa Maria Magnolfi studio.
A standout feature is the expansive cockpit, offering 80 square meters of space free from technical equipment, comparable to the most modern 60-meter sailing superyachts. Guests can enjoy various sofas, sunbeds, and seating areas, along with additional lounges on the “sea terrace” and foredeck.
Below deck, the strategic placement of the engine room beneath the saloon allows for an open, light-filled interior. Natural light pours in through hull windows, deckhouse windows, and a skylight, illuminating the dining area, lounge, and office.
The wallywind110’s debut at the Monaco Yacht Show promises to highlight Wally’s dedication to combining luxury and performance in a cutting-edge design, reinforcing its leading position in the sailing superyacht market.
