Two distinctive superyachts from Amels Limited Editions took to the water on the same day, marking a historic achievement for Damen Yachting. The 74-meter Amels 242 and the 60-meter Amels 200 were both launched, showcasing the craftsmanship and efficiency of Damen Yachting's team in Vlissingen City, the Netherlands.

Designed by the renowned Tim Heywood, the exteriors of these yachts represent the timeless appeal of Amels Limited Editions. While the owners have the freedom to personalize the interior, both chose Winch Design for unique and stand out interior concepts.

Amels 242
The Amels 242, the eighth of its kind, boasts an eye-catching exterior with a Flag blue hull and an Oyster white superstructure. Winch Design integrated the blue theme into various interior elements, including semi-precious agate blue stones at the main entrance and blue marbles throughout. The yacht features a dedicated Owner’s Deck, a hot tub, a large aft swimming pool, and a lower deck wellness space.

Amels 200
The fourth Amels 200 introduces an evolution of the Amels 188, featuring unique interior touches and an adjusted layout. The owner's vision includes additional balconies on the main deck and exterior bars on every deck. The custom Whisper Grey hull enhances the yacht's distinct appearance, and the design incorporates innovative features for remote work and extended periods at sea.

Both yachts are set to enter private use but are well-suited for the charter market, given their fluid layouts and abundant amenities.
Damen Yachting, a division within the Damen Shipyards Group, was created in 2019. The division combines the pedigree and heritage of Amels yachts with a growing portfolio of SeaXplorer yachts and Yacht Support vessels.
