The Swan European Regatta in Turku, the bi-annual event organized by Nautor Swan, ClubSwan Racing, the City of Turku, Turku Yacht Club, Merikeskus Forum Marinum and Sunborn Events, is welcoming more than 30 Swans in the Baltic waters, from today, July 19th, until the 23rd. The maritime area of Forum Marinum will be the heart of this event.

From the classic Swan 36 Tarantella to the cutting-edge Swan 55s – May, Fujin, and Truelove – Nautor Swan showcases its passion and dedication to the brand in an astonishing fleet of heritage and contemporary models. Swan teams unite in the picturesque Turku Archipelago for daily coastal racing, blending the beauty of sailing with intense competition.
Last year's winner, the Swan 45 Aurora, returns to defend its title, aiming to replicate its phenomenal en-plein victory (1–1–1) in the 2021 edition. Notably, the Swan 36 Tarantella, owned by the yard itself, will be helmed by Lorenzo Giacomuzzi, supported by an all-female crew from Nautor Swan's team, representing various departments of the company. Their dedication to excellence is evident, with the crew determined to secure another podium finish after their 3rd place achievement in 2021.

Beyond racing, Tarantella plays a central role in extra-work activities organized by the yard, including a sailing school for women, trips for guests and staff, and more, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie. The Swan 55s, the latest additions to the fleet, will also participate in the regatta.

Giovanni Pomati, Nautor Group CEO, emphasizes the significance of the Swan European Regatta as a celebration of the brand's origins in the Baltic Sea and its strong Finnish heritage. The City of Turku's impeccable organization enhances the event, reviving the passion for sailing, celebrating Swan boats, and fostering a sense of family within the sailing community.
The competition in Airisto can be enjoyed on a big screen at Forum Marinum, and the regatta is accompanied by a rich social events program, including music performances and parties. Special events take place at Turku Castle, such as an exclusive owners' dinner and the prize-giving ceremony at the full-rigged Frigate Suomen Joutsen, followed by a lively Crew Party at Forum Marinum.
Nautor Swan was founded in 1966 in Pietarsaari, Finland. The builder entered the superyacht market in 1999. Since then, the yard has continued building high-performance sailing yachts in three different lines; ClubSwan, Swan Yachts and Maxi Swan Yachts.
