After its debut at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year, the Icon is set to be present at three prestigious yachting events this fall – Cannes Yachting Festival, Monaco Yacht Show, and Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez. With cutting-edge foiling technology derived from the America's Cup, the Icon showcases up to 80% energy savings compared to conventional hulls. Notably, it promises a seasickness-free and smooth journey.

This visionary concept is the brainchild of German entrepreneurs Christoph Ballin and Tobias Hoffritz. Collaborating closely with BMW, the Icon has been designed to redefine the luxury experience while emphasizing environmentally-conscious enjoyment.

The yacht's interior boasts a luxurious ambiance and generous views, facilitated by its innovative design. The low construction and spacious 4.5-meter beam enable an expansive interior, while the unique superstructure, inspired by origami, provides a captivating aesthetic.

Measuring 13.15 meters in length and reaching a top speed of 30 knots, the Icon marks a new era of battery-electric propulsion. Developed by TYDE, in conjunction with BMW and Designworks, this creation takes a bold step by incorporating hydrofoils, underwater wings that substantially decrease energy consumption and elevate ride comfort.

The Icon's innovative electric drive, powered by two 100 kW electric motors, offers an impressive range of over 50 nautical miles at 24 knots. With a maximum speed of 30 knots, this watercraft allows for nearly silent cruising, providing a serene and seamless experience.
