British motor yacht manufacturer Sunseeker has recently announced the forthcoming launch of its new high performance day boat, the Hawk 38. This 11,85-metre yacht with a beam of 3,01 metres is set to become one of bright reflections of the company’s racing heritage.

The boat’s design was developed by Fabio Buzzi, who himself is a winner of 43 World Speed Records and 55 World Championships.
The Hawk 38’ key features comprise a foredeck fitted with a sunbathing pad and optional foredeck sail canopy, a helm station located midships and a U-shaped seating around a central table facing the aft.

According to Sunseeker, there are several paint combinations and upholstery variations available for this model, so no two boats would ever be likely to appear the same.
Powered by twin Mercury R 400 outboard engines, accompanied by Mercury Racing Digital Zero Effort throttles, this high-performance model can boast a top speed of 62 knots at a range of up to 250 nautical miles. Moreover, she disposes of several other outboard engine options. The yard claims, that thanks to her “searing performance”, she will “always be first to the best anchorage or beach restaurant.”

This model was introduced shortly before sad news about the Sunseeker founder Robert Braithwaite passing away.
