70.2m Martha Ann's asking price was recently decreased by $10 million down to $79,000,000 at IYC. Built for Warren E Halle, Martha Ann is the latest of three yachts commissioned by the American entrepreneur from Lurssen.

As part of a venture in Mr Halle's group, The Halle Companies 3 yachts were commissioned from Lurssen under the project names Marlin, Nemo and Shark. Designed by Espen Oeino, these 3 yachts were part of the golden era of yacht flipping during which developers would commission a yacht with the intent of selling it immediately after or even before launch.
In 2003, Mr Halle commissioned 67m Apoise (Project Marlin), which he later sold to Canadian entrepreneur, David Ritchie for €65,000,000 in 2006. The year before Mr Halle had commissioned two 70m sisterships, Projects Shark and Nemo for €48,000,000 a piece. St Nicholas (Project Nemo) was then sold through Lurssen for €71,500,000 in 2008.

With a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, Martha Ann has a length of 70.2 meters. Refitted in 2014, the yacht is classified by Lloyds and MCA compliant. Her 6 cabin-layout can accommodate 12 guests in a full beam master cabin, a VIP on the upper deck and four double cabins on the lower deck.

From a technical standpoint, Martha Ann is powered by twin Caterpillar engines of 2,010 hp each giving her a maximum speed of 15.5 knots and a range of 6,000 nautical miles at 13 knots. For maximum comfort, this yacht for sale is fitted with zero speed stabilizers.
