Sanlorenzo reports €184 million net revenue for Q1 2023, exceeding expectations. The Italy-based yacht builder experienced double-digit growth across all key metrics, reflecting the strength of the brand and its business model. The net revenue from new yacht sales in Q1 reached €183.7 million, an 11.8 percent increase compared to the previous year.

The European market witnessed significant expansion, with a 50.3 percent growth compared to Q1 2022. The order intake for the quarter amounted to €170.1 million, contributing to a gross backlog of €1.24 million. 

“In line with our Business Plan 2023-2025, the results of the first quarter 2023 demonstrate the strength of the brand and the excellence of the business model of the Maison Sanlorenzo, which once again translates into increasing results, substantially in line with our forecasts. Our backlog is consistent and of high quality, 92% sold to final clients. The next deliveries are not available before summer 2025 for Yachts and before summer 2026 for Superyachts. This combination results in a high-degree visibility, well above the industry average, which allows for an enviable planning,” says Massimo Perotti, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Company.

Sanlorenzo's net profit rose by 23 percent to €17.2 million, resulting in a margin of 9.4 percent on net revenue. The company emphasizes its high-quality backlog, with 92 percent sold to final clients, providing excellent visibility and planning. Sanlorenzo also strengthened its supply chain through strategic partnerships with suppliers such as Sea Energy and Duerre. EBITDA for Q1 2023 reached €31.2 million, a 21.2 percent increase, while EBIT amounted to €24.2 million, up 22 percent from the previous year. The company's commitment to innovation and sustainability is evident through continued investments in research and development, positioning Sanlorenzo for a successful zero-emission yachting transition.

Sanlorenzo was founded in 1958 in Viareggio by yacht builder Gionvanni Jannetti. In 2005, Massimo Perrotti became the majority shareholder in the shipyard. Sanlorenzo builds yachts ranging from 28.60 to 62 meters in length.

Athens-based design studio IPYD has revealed Aether, an 80-meter superyacht concept developed for Oceanco's Simply Custom platform. Pershing GTX80 Begins East Coast Tour from New York to Hamptons
The Pershing GTX80 has docked at Manhattan's North Cove Marina, marking the start of its East Coast tour celebrating Pershing's 40th anniversary. The 24-meter Sport Utility Yacht will visit Montauk (July 1) and Newport (July 12) before concluding in the Hamptons.The tour showcases Pershing's performance-oriented design combining speed and onboard comfort. 38m Tri-Deck Launched by Hargrave in Antalya
Hargrave Superyachts has launched its new 38-meter tri-deck motor yacht, the Hargrave 125, from its Antalya, Turkey facility. The vessel, designated Project 125, will debut at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival.With a 7.92-meter beam and 1.95-meter draft, the Bahamas-compliant design features a displacement hull optimized for long-range cruising. Stabilization systems operate both at anchor and underway. The 330GT interior maintains 2.2-meter ceiling heights throughout its 10-guest, 7-crew configuration.Power comes from twin Caterpillar C32 main engines with matching 75kW generators, delivering a 17-knot cruising speed. An ASEA power converter ensures global shore power compatibility. The yacht carries a 10-year structural warranty and equivalent coverage for main mechanical components.Hargrave includes a six-month management package with each sale. Porto Cervo Hosts 2025 Swan One Design World Championships
The Yacht Club Costa Smeralda is hosting the 2025 Swan One Design Worlds from June 17-21, featuring 35 teams from 30 nations competing across four one-design classes. The event marks the competitive debut of the ClubSwan 28 class alongside established ClubSwan 36, 42 and 50 fleets."The Swan One Design Worlds highlight the energy and camaraderie of the ClubSwan family," said Luisa Bambozzi, Managing Director of ClubSwan Racing. New M60GL Performance Cruiser Announced by Mylius Yachts
Italian yacht builder Mylius Yachts has revealed details of its new M60GL sailing yacht, an 18.5-meter performance cruiser-racer designed by Giovanni Ceccarelli. The first unit is currently under construction for a European owner, with delivery scheduled for 2026.The M60GL features a carbon fiber hull with Corecell core construction, combining racing performance with cruising comfort. The design includes a 24-meter carbon mast supporting a 120 sqm mainsail and 325 sqm gennaker, with deck hardware from Harken Racing GP. The yacht's 5.5-meter beam provides expanded social areas while maintaining competitive sailing characteristics."Ceccarelli has captured the owner's brief perfectly, blending innovation with our family feeling of speed, beauty and comfort," said Mylius Yachts CEO Valentina Gandini.
