The Palma International Boat Show continues to strengthen its position as the leading exhibition for the start of the nautical season, boasting 271 exhibitors and over 600 boats on display, with more than 250 in the water. The event, held at Palma’s Moll Vell from April 27th to 30th, will showcase new products and developments from the nautical sector, generating around €966 million in the Balearic Islands and employing over 5,000 people. Organized by the Balearic Islands Institute for Business Innovation (IDI) and the Balearic Yacht Brokers Association (BYBA), the show will feature a variety of vessels, with a particular emphasis on sailboats, large boats, and motor catamarans.
In recent years, there has been an increase in the medium length of the boats on display, with some exceeding 25 meters, including the largest yacht at the fair, the sailing yacht Elena of London, measuring up to 55 meters. The show will also present a range of sustainable products, including electric boats that use solar energy to reduce fossil fuel consumption.
