Numarine has sold 22 units of its expedition-style motor yacht, the Numarine 26XP, which is available in a displacement or planing configuration. The latest version, the Numarine 26XP Fast, is designed for speed with a top speed of 31 knots, powered by twin MAN 1800hp engines. The 25.68-meter yacht is aimed squarely at the US market and is ideal for weekend or day trips, allowing for a quick trip from Miami to the Bahamas in just 2-3 hours.
“The Numarine displacement explorer range has proved very popular in the US, but we know there are people out there who love fast boats, especially for weekend or day trips.” Says Omer Malaz, Founder and Chairman of Numarine. “We launched our first planing hull in the XP Series in 2018, but this version has bigger engines for those who want a very fast boat with big volumes.”
Can Yalman, a long-term collaborator of Numarine, has designed the exterior and interior of the 26XP Fast. The yacht features the same angular windows and vertical bow as its larger sisters, offering the same level of comfort and amenities in a more compact package.
A standout feature of the 26XP Fast is the spacious 65-sqm flybridge, the largest in its size category, with ample space for a 3m tender or jet skis. Clients can choose between an extended hardtop or a soft top for the flybridge.
The 26XP Fast accommodates eight guests in two ensuite double cabins, a VIP suite forward, and a luxurious owner’s suite amidships. An optional 5th cabin can replace the observation lounge on the main deck forward. The saloon and dining room feature full-height windows and a sliding section of the saloon windows creates a floating balcony over the sea.
The yacht offers a total of 138 sqm of exterior deck space, including an open aft deck, al fresco dining area, and an oversized sunbed. The Numarine 26XP Fast is designed to minimize noise and vibration for maximum comfort, and an optional ‘Extra silent’ package is available.
The Numarine 26XP Fast is constructed using PVC foam with unidirectional and multiaxial E-glass and vinylester resin. It takes 6-8 months to build, with the next available delivery in March 2024.
Numarine, a European high-performance motor-yacht shipyard headquartered in Istanbul, offers a range of yachts from 19 to 45 meters.
