Northrop & Johnson announces the donation of the 35.05m sailing yacht Odin by Yacht Brokers Paul Daubner and Sean McCarter, who represented the owner. The yacht has entered a 36-month bareboat charter with a purchase option to benefit the California Maritime Academy Foundation.

Odin was built by Nautor’s Swan in 2018 with design by German Frers. This technologically advanced yacht was built using carbon foam/Nomex sandwich and SPRINT technology and is equipped with an advanced WPT3 race processor. Every detail of the sailing yacht has been studied by world-class engineers and boat builders to ensure the yacht is optimized for competitive racing at the highest level ensuring she has second-to-none performance and a soft touch at the helm.

Her interior is warm and welcoming. She has an open-plan layout that is ideal for hosting guests. The sailing yacht also has a well-equipped galley. She can accommodate six guests. The master cabin is located on the port side, aft of the main salon. The space is soothing with a double bed and en-suite bath. The additional staterooms, located forward of the salon, include a king VIP and a generous double-bed cabin. Additionally, Odin has accommodation for six crew members in three cabins.

Nautor’s Swan was founded in 1966 in Pietarsaari, Finland. The builder entered the superyacht market in 1999. Since then, the yard has continued building high-performance sailing yachts in three different lines; ClubSwan, Swan Yachts and Maxi Swan Yachts.
