The new wallywhy150 will be showcased at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2023, which will be held from September 12th to 17th. Made by the experienced Wally-Ferretti Group Engineering team, with Studio Vallicelli Design responsible for her interior design, with a raised pilothouse design, the wallywhy150 was created to offer unmatched exterior spaces on a 78-foot yacht.
Driven by the goal to stay ahead of the curve, Wally developed the wallywhy150 to anticipate market demands and build upon the success of the innovative features found on the wallywhy200. This flexible yacht, measuring 24 meters in length and 150 GT, is designed for experienced owners who appreciate the skillful use of space, ample living areas, and its distinct personality.
The exterior areas of the wallywhy150 are unparalleled for its size, with the upper deck providing a vast open space that offers a range of activities. Onboard, owners and guests can indulge in a full dining experience on the sundeck, relax on sun loungers, unwind in a shaded lounge, and much more – the majority of the yacht's length is dedicated to outdoor spaces. Another notable feature is the extensive use of floor-to-ceiling glass, which dominates the vessel's design.
Accommodation on the wallywhy150 includes a forward master cabin on the main deck, reminiscent of the wallywhy200. This spacious cabin offers 270-degree panoramic views and a stunning "amphitheater of the sea" design, thanks to its unique high bow. Additional accommodation is located on the lower deck, with the option of a layout featuring 1 VIP cabin, 1 double cabin, and 1 twin guest cabin, or a 2-VIP cabin layout. All staterooms benefit from large windows, creating an airy and modern atmosphere onboard.
The aft deck of the wallywhy150 provides a spacious and unobstructed platform, equipped with a hydraulic multipurpose ladder and a rising platform. Owners have the freedom to customize this area according to their preferences, accommodating various water toys and a large 3.90-meter (12'8'') tender.
With the optional three IPS1350 engines, the wallywhy150 can reach a maximum speed of 23 knots, while the standard propulsion of three IPS1200 engines achieves a top speed of 21 knots.
Part of the Ferretti Group, the shipyard was founded in 1994 in Monaco by Luca Bassani, passionate and visionary yachtsman, Wally changed the entire concept of cruising yachts and created groundbreaking sailing and power boats which are unmatched reference points in yachting and in the design world. Wally is the only yachting brand to be a two-time winner of the ADI Compasso d’Oro, the world’s most important award for quality and design.
