Turkish shipbuilder Naval Yachts has revealed the latest image of its newest flagship XPM 85. The building contract was signed in May 2021. Owners of XPM85 are experienced sailors from the USA. They plan to sail around the world and make long passages. The yacht's naval architecture and exterior styling was made by Artnautica in collaboration with Dennis Harjaama, interiors are made in-house by the Naval Yachts design team.

Built from aluminum, the vessel have a MCA Certification requiring many safety regulations and they are quite strict but make the boat super safe. MCA enables commercial chartering licenses worldwide.

Main saloon and flybridge has been extended forward, the height has been raised. The aft deck is designed for long cruises, as well as to enjoy the sea, sun and meal time. There is an L-shape seating area, barbeque, fridge, and a sink.
XPM 85 features a three cabin layout, which include one master suite and two guest cabins.

XPM 85 has a 36 sq. m solar panel area which generates 6,3 kw/hour. If considered as 6 hours of efficient sunlight in a day; the solar panels generate 38 kw/day which is not only enough for house load but also enough to load the Lithium batteries. The 25.4m yacht is equipped with two Scania 250 HP diesel engines. The XPM 85 will have a maximum speed of 16 knots and can cruise at 10.5 knots. She can reach a range of 3,400 nautical miles at nine knots.

The first hull is scheduled for launch in June 2023.
Naval Yachts was founded in 2008. The 7.000 sq. m shipyard is located in Antalya Free Zone, Turkey’s heart of modern yacht building, where all kinds of vessels up to 65 meters are being built and repaired.
