The 37m Gulf Craft-built yacht La Familia (built in 2001) is having a major refit at Antalya-based Naval Yachts. The yacht also is extended to 43m and renamed as Project Cavalli. This extension's main focal point is its pool part which takes up most of the space. The construction began in 2021.

The yacht will feature a 7m swimming pool with a bar and lounge area at the foredeck. A certain level difference is created with the staircase that goes from back to front inside of the pool. At the deepest part, a person is capable of seeing outside under the water from the parallel shaped windows that are located on the port and starboard parts of the pool. With the use of corner corridors, a person can reach the front part easily from both sides of the boat. After the settling process is completed, further detailed works on the pool part have been completed and now it is ready for the painting process.

Areas for entertainment and socializing will also include a beach club with two balconies and the flybridge with a hot tub. The furniture is Cavalli-designed and has a sophisticated color palette.

The yacht features a four-cabin layout comprising a lower deck VIP and two guest cabins plus an upper deck owner’s suite.
Project Cavalli will have an international debut at the Monaco Yacht Show.
Naval Yachts was founded in 2008. The 7.000 sq. m shipyard is located in Antalya Free Zone, Turkey’s heart of modern yacht building, where all kinds of vessels up to 65 meters are being built and repaired.
