JFA Yachts is pushing the boundaries with the latest addition to its Long Island range, the Long Island 87'. Building on the success of the extensively sailed Long Island 85', which navigated waters from Antarctica to Greenland, the 87' model takes seafaring to new heights.
Featuring a redesigned superstructure with modern lines and an extended flybridge, the Long Island 87' incorporates cutting-edge technologies for passenger comfort on global voyages. Renowned for its craftsmanship, JFA Yachts specializes in sailing and motor catamarans, with the Long Island series standing out for its aluminum hulls and composite decks.
Crafted by Marc Lombard Yacht Design Group, the 87' version mirrors the 86' motor version, emphasizing an expansive flybridge equipped with a navigation station, sheltered bar, and a spacious salon offering panoramic views. Solar panels on the flybridge roof enhance sustainability during anchorages, minimizing generator use.
With a main deck boasting over 11 meters of width, the Long Island 87' creates a spacious indoor/outdoor living area, complete with a sheltered bar, salon, and sunbathing zones. The aft deck, housing the essential tender during navigation, easily transforms into a relaxation area or launching beach for water sports.
Internally, the vessel offers a luminous salon extending to a dining area, with the owner's cabin occupying the entire width of the roof, providing exceptional size and a 180° view. Accommodating 10 guests and 4 crew members, the Long Island 87' promises comfort and functionality in its 124 square meter space.
Designed by Darnet Design in collaboration with JFA Yachts, the interior promises a personalized ambiance, reflecting the future owner's vision. With a proven track record and the endorsement of the future owner, the Long Island 87' sets a new standard for blue water sailing catamarans, confirming the range's reputation for simplicity, efficiency, seaworthiness, and refinement.
