Heesen Yachts has announced the sale of YN 18455 (aka Project Antares), 55m Fast Displacement motoryacht, on May 10, 2017. Now the yard reports that the joining of the hull and superstructure, as well as the installation of her two MTU 8V4000 M63 engines, took place at the facility in Oss 4 days later.
Project Antares is a 55m steel-hulled FDHF vessel that was sold just over four weeks ago to a very experienced American yachtsman. She will have some special features to carry out her role as mothership to the owner’s sport fishing fleet, such as the possibility to re-fuel and re-charge two sport fishing boats, allowing for several days out at sea. Moreover, Project Antares boasts a major difference from her equally beautiful sister ships: an owner’s apartment that is 30 per cent larger, having been extended from 62 to 80 sqm.
Italian designers Francesco Paszkowski and Margherita Casprini are now working closely with the owner and his team to personalize the interior design of his new 740GT vessel.
After the meeting with the client, with whom we immediately had good intellectual connection, we are working on the existing interior design to improve the owner’s 80-sqm apartment, the lobby and the sky lounge, to fully match his life style and taste
says Paszkowski
We are going to propose some layout changes as well as new material and finishes. For the latter we are going to do detailed research into select materials that will add lavish luxury to the interiors. We are confident that the shipyard and their highly talented team from Heesen Yachts Interiors, will be able—once again—to perfectly craft what we have designed
Project Antares has now entered the outfitting phase and will be ready for delivery to her owners in November 2018.
