This week marked a significant milestone as the fourth Amels 60 superyacht touched water for the first time in Vlissingen, the Netherlands. The 60-meter yacht was designed by Espen Oeino with naval architecture by Damen Yachting.
The Amels 60 series, introduced in 2019, has garnered immense popularity and currently boasts an impressive six units. While each yacht shares a proven platform and similar features, they possess their own unique spirit and individuality.

This semi-custom design allows owners to personalize their yacht's interior and various exterior elements. In the case of the fourth Amels 60, the windows have been transformed into stunning long lines of glazing, offering breathtaking views with a floor-to-ceiling height of 1.9 meters in the main saloon.
Jan van Hogerwou, Damen Yachting's Commercial Executive USA, expresses the strong reception the new Amels design has received, emphasizing the allure of customizations within a two-year delivery timeframe.

The Amels 60 accommodates up to 12 guests in six staterooms, including a luxurious full-beam owner's Suite located on the main deck forward. The suite features a folding balcony terrace and an adjacent cabin that can serve as a VIP suite, children's suite, office, or gym. The remaining four guest suites are situated on the lower deck.
Among its standout features, the Amels 60 boasts a beach club sauna, a hot tub on the sundeck, and a touch-and-go helipad. In line with environmental considerations, the yacht incorporates IMO Tier III compliant hybrid power and propulsion technology, cutting-edge equipment, exceptional seakeeping abilities, and a transatlantic range of 4,500 miles. Notably, the Amels 60 can store a tender of up to 9 meters on its foredeck, a remarkable achievement for a yacht of this size.

The fourth Amels 60 is set to be delivered to its owner this Autumn.
Damen Yachting, a division within the Damen Shipyards Group, was created in 2019. The division combines the pedigree and heritage of Amels yachts with a growing portfolio of SeaXplorer yachts and Yacht Support vessels.
